Masshiro was walking around in the academy training grounds he was supposed to meet Jade here for some training, and she was running late. “Come on Jade, what could possibly be keeping you?!” He said angrily sitting down under a tree, and pulled out Chi no Akuryou. He looked into the pristine crimson blade his reflection looking back at him the mist headband that his mother had sewn into his hat showing out in nice relief. He leaned his head back a lock of blonde hair falling into his face. He blew back letting it fall to the side. “What’s keeping her?” He wondered as he laid his blade next to him and closed his eyes, and then knew what he could be doing to pass the time. He pulled out a water balloon and placed it in his right palm. He had wanted to try out his spin trick on it, but the water was too heavy for him to spin it, so he just focused, on spinning the water inside. The balloon showed little motion, at all, but Masshiro kept at it.

Jade had been hurrying to meet up with Masshiro for a little sword practice, but she had gotten side tracked. At First when she saw the girl she had mistaken her for Masshiro in the crowd. All she had saw was the hat and a flash of blue,, and gold hair so Jade had went after the girl and when she had caught up was deeply embarrassed. I mean what could she have told her that? That she had thought she was a boy she was supposed to meet up with. That wouldn’t have gone over well, but in her defense she and Masshiro could pass for each other the long blonde hair and well that look of just confidence, and happiness. “I am so sorry I was heading to meet a friend for sword practice, and well you look like him, not that you look like a boy or anything, but…” Jade just stopped before she said something really stupid, that and she’d caught sight of the girl’s sword. “Man oh man that sword is awesome!” Jade said looking at the pink blade. “Oh well since you’re a swordswoman too how about you come with me, and you can spar with my friend Masshiro. He’s a good friend of mine and a good swordsman, a little cocky, but you learn to like him.” Jade ran to the Academy training field seeing Masshiro play with a water balloon. “Sorry I’m late, but I met this girl who looks just like you.” She’d say breathing hard.

[For Jade -> i1083.photobucket.com/albums/j387/kimmelkevin2010/cb23667c-1d6f-47e4-bbb7-3926547f1737_zps995a1103.jpg <-] Another fine day Fionna thought as she walked along through the village her sword Ruby strapped to her back her backpack over it. She was dressed rather plainly a teal green t-shirt on with blue shorts and long white leggings that came up to her thighs. Lastly she wore her favorite bunny ears hat her Kirigakure headband tied around her neck now. She wasn't sure what she would do today maybe some more training perhaps. Then she blinked stopping as she heard running footsteps now and looking back brushed the fluff of blonde hair over her right eye out of the way to see a pink haired girl before her rather embarassed. "Quite alright I get that a lot." She never understood why people kept mistaking her for this boy. A boy who wore clothing almost identical to her own. She kept blaming it on being a tomboy but she was beginning to wonder just who this guy was and what he looked like. "Thanks my father gave it to me a gift from his late wife." Fionna replied quickly in response a sad smile on her face. She'd never known the woman who had died during the last shinobi war but she liked her after hearing how her father spoke highly of her. "Um sure I was looking to train today anyways." Fionna replied with a sheepish smile chasing after the girl now. Their destination was the academy it seemed and once there she had to stop eyes going wide at the sight of the boy with the water balloon. "Totally mathmatical." She said to herself they were almost like twins it was uncanny and weird. Her father had never spoken of her having a twin so what was this then? "Um hey I'm Fionna Masaki. What are your names?" She asked a sheepish smile on her face as she rubbed the back of her neck now today had taken a weird twist for her it seemed.

Masshiro looked at the two girls approach. “You better have a good reason for being late.” Masshiro said in a huff. He wasn’t sure why Jade had brought the girl, but what really shocked him was that she looked just like him. “Flip what the zip!?” He dropped the water balloon and went to the two girls. “Uhh hey I’m Masshiro Hiragana.” He looked the girl over it was like looking in a mirror, a totally reverse mirror, but still. He looked at the sword she carried. “Nice blade Fionna seems we’re a trio of swordsmen.” He’d say pulling out his own blade. “This is Chi no Akuryou.” He said swirling the blade in a circle making a crimson wheel in the air, before stopping the blade facing towards the sky. He had to ask though. “Are you an orphan from the war?” He said a little sheepishly, he wasn’t sure he should be asking this, but he had to know if she was his twin then that meant he wasn’t alone in this world. That he had someone he could share his loneliness with.

Jade was so glad the girl hadn’t taken it the wrong way. If that had been her sister, she would have blown a fuse being compared to a boy. “Thank you so much.” She’d say deeply relieved. Jade looked at the blade admiringly, but took on a sad look after she got the backstory on the sword. “Oh I’m so sorry for you.” Jade said with a sad smile. Jade placed her hands on her hips. “Hold on I can be late if I want to!” She huffed at him. Masshiro was her friend, but he could be a bit bossy sometimes. She watched as the two laid eyes on the other. They could seriously be siblings, but that was a little farfetched even by her standards. Then there were the strange words and ways they used them. Jade cocked her head looking at the two of them strangely. She could barely follow what was going on between them. Then Masshiro had to show off, and pull out his sword. Jade rolled her eyes. “Quit being a show off Masshiro and let’s just train.” She looked at Fionna and rubbed the back of her head bashfully. “Oh I’m Jade Tora, nice to meet you.”

Fionna had simply blinked as Jade apologized for her loss she simply nodded in response. She had never known the woman since she died during the war along with her father's biological daughter. The man had spirit to go on as he had despite losing both of his loved ones. Sure she wasn't his blood but he'd treated her like she was and he'd spoiled her a little in order to keep her happy. She smiled at the thought watching Jade interact with the boy who seemed confused at the sight of her the feeling was mutual. "Nice to meet you too Masshiro-san. Oh and this is Ruby she's a special sword mind you." She'd reply before drawing her sword and pointed it at him. Then she would smile lowering it as he showed her his own pointing it to the sky as she asked him a question about being a orphan from war no doubt meaning the fourth great shinobi war. "Yeah funny you should ask. I was found abandoned by shinobi who had lost his family to the war. He raised me like I was his own." She replied raising a curious brow now. Why had he asked such a thing like that? How could he have known or guess she might be one? Then she looked to Jade as she introduced herself finally. "Pleasure to meet you then Jade-chan. Seems we all have a love for swords here pretty bombastic if you tell me." Fionna replied a smirk on her face as she thrust her sword into the air now.

Masshiro shook his head. “Alright don’t get your panties in a bunch.” He said. “Not that I was thinking about panties or anything.” He would say hurriedly. Jade was a good friend, but she could be so aggressive. Masshiro turned to Jade. “I’m not showing off I’m just good with a sword, you should know Jade.” He said with a wink he and Jade had been meeting up here every day to spar and Masshiro had accumulated a pretty nice track record. He was ahead by one, and he knew Jade was itching to even it up. Masshiro looked at her sword. It was a nice blade top heavy probably, but that made for heavier attacks. “Pretty cool Fionna.” He wondered if she would even answer his question, what if she said no then where would he be. His eyes widened. “You’re exactly like me!” He shouted at her. “I was found outside the village near the foot of the Kiri Mountains.” Masshiro looked at her they might need a DNA test to be sure, but deep in his bones he knew they were family. “Yeah we do, now let’s use them. I suggest ladies first.” He said stepping to the side to let the two girls have at it.

Jade clenched her fist a slight blush on her face. “You’re a real jerk sometimes Masshiro.” She said crossing her arms angrily. Jade’s interest was piqued by the fact that Fionna’s sword was special. “Really what’s special about it?” She said feeling kind of left out. She knew Masshiro’s sword had some kind of power, and now Fionna’s as well she seriously needed an upgrade. Jade cast a livid glare at Masshiro. “That won’t last after today, you and your stupid record.” Jade pulled out her own sword hers was by far the longest. “Your sword may have some special power Masshiro, but mine’s bigger.” She gave him a devilish smile as she nudged Fionna with her elbow. “Don’t you think so Fionna?” Jade huffed at Masshiro’s question. “What kind of question is that Masshiro?!” She said looking at Fionna. “Don’t mind him he’s an idiot.” But Fionna answered and it seemed they had some kind of connection. “Well you two could pass for siblings.” She said happily. Jade nodded at Fionna. “Right back at ya honey.” Jade said with a weak smile. There go those weird words they used. “Yeah totally…bombastic.” Jade said weakly.

Fionna would grin at her sword being called cool now. "Totally mathmatical I know isn't it?" She chuckled lightly now before looking to Jade at her question. Of course she would faceplam she had left out that little detail in her excitement. Then she remembered they wanted to spar and grinned. "You'll just have to fight me and find out Jade-chan." She replied sticking her sword into the ground now. It was a little heavy at times but she had gotten used to it's weight by now. She'd blink as she was nudged hearing something about a bigger sword. "Hai you do Jade-chan biggest one I've ever seen in my life." How long was that thing it had to be a record. She had no idea how Jade used it so effectively. Then she looked back to Masshiro as he told her the same thing had happened to him and where he had been found. "I was too though I guess on a different side of the mountains than you." It was such a strange coincidence and yet she felt it was true in her heart. They almost looked identical and seemed to hold the same passions and speech mannerisms. They might need a doctor to prove it officially but she felt already that this guy was her brother it wasn't a coincidence that they shared the same tastes in words and clothing. "We can start the fight soon as I take care of something." Handsigns were made and slamming her hand on the ground a ninken cat would appear in a poof of smoke. Then she dug into a pocket and handed her some treats. "Seems I lost the bet Cake. Turns out I do have a look-a-like and would you know he's my twin." She would say and Cake would laugh before moving out to the side to sit and enjoy her treats. Fionna then pulled her sword Ruby from the ground. "Okay I'm ready now."

Masshiro shrugged. “I don’t mean to be Jade, but you aren’t exactly a ray of sunshine sometimes.” stepped aside to sit on a bench and watched the girls duke it out, and to think about the fact that he now had a sister. “Totally math.” He said nodding. “Yeah Jade show her what you got.” Masshiro turned red. “Size doesn’t matter it’s how you use it.” He said crossing his arm. “You must have been, but the fact that we’ve lived in the same village and have never seen each other that is totally weird.” He would say pulling out another water balloon and would proceed to try and burst it. Masshiro was pretty curious about her sword as well, the blade didn’t seem to be made of any metal he knew of, and its name Ruby did call some things into question. Masshiro laughed at Jade. “It sounds weird when you say it Jade.” He went back trying to pop the balloon It was harder to swirl water than air and then he had to swirl it hard enough to break the balloon. He kept his eye and concentration on the ball tuning everything else out.
