Kikyo raced up the mountain face with her arms outstretched behind her back. Her chakra-laden feet enabled her to perform the feat; soon enough, she bent her knees, and jumped off the stony surface and she spun her body aimlessly to aim a drop kick right onto her friend, Raine. The two kunoichi found themselves once more as they decided to use all their remaining time efficiently to invest in the growth of their skills. Kikyo received knowledge that her new affiliation, Hell’s Butterflies, would be increased by one more member, but with Raine’s wishes, she wished to train with the two separately so as to learn more from each other, and not divide up the focus. The mountain ranges closeby to Kirigakure were relatively secluded, and seeing as they were not exactly the most wanted ninja like the Akatsuki was back then. Kikyo was sporting her usual red and black attire with her white bandages wrapped around her stylishly along with her short kunoichi heeled boots. Her orange hair was tired up into a ponytail though which proved to be more effective during combat.
As her leg was about to make contact to Raine however she chose to counterattack, she managed to talk out as best as she could mid-fight, ”Did you take care of what you had to?” She said it out just before she made connection to Raine with her drop kick. It had been weeks since the two’s first meeting back at the Waterfall, and since Hell’s Butterflies was inducted. She had yet to meet the third member of their team, but she was not worried about the meeting. Right now, all she cared for was the training happening right there and then. Of course, she had other things on her mind too – especially from her lasting trip to Konoha upon which she managed to enjoy more than she had originally intended. Flashbacks of the visit came to her momentarily, but it didn’t hinder her fighting ability very much.

Raine would watch as Kikyo ran up the mountainside face now. Here she was again with Kikyo. She had run into an interesting woman in Shimagakure and the encounter had left her thinking. Being back here with Kikyo again she felt distracted and it probably showed. She understood now she had feelings for Kikyo like she had for Katsuko. The woman was always on her mind even when they were apart ever since meeting Kikyo before. She wanted to say something but how to go about it the right way. She didn't want to scare the woman off because she liked her and she didn't return the feelings. It was all so troublesome but she couldn't let it fester like this. She had to find the right moment for it and that was what distracted her so much right now. She glanced up to see the woman coming down at her hearing her question her mouth formed into a thin line now.
"Somewhat? Did you as well?" She had noticed Kikyo seemed a little distracted herself. Raine would block the attack before jumping into the air coming down at Kikyo with a spinning kick to her side now. What could she be thinking about she wondered. Had something happened in their time apart. Was she second guessing herself? No she seemed focused on their training enough and helping her cause so what was it? Was she jealous that she might have found someone else? Her mouth would form a thin line at the thought as she threw a few rapid jabs at Kikyo now. She had to tell her soon to get it off her chest before it ate her alive.

Just as Kikyo made a connection to Raine through her drop kick, she could feel just how ..rushed the defense felt – as if it wasn’t prepared or seen coming in advance. It was amazing just what you could learn about someone through just physical contact and no words. Kikyo wasn’t the most proficient Taijutsu user, but she did know how to use her skills in battle if she needed to. Also, she was accustomed to Taijutsu through her own special talents, so through that, even the simplest hits and moves came to her even without activating her special abilities. So, through her latest collision, she already knew that something was troubling Raine. Just after she made the connection, she rebounded off and landed back on the earthy surface after two airborne somersaults. She handed on her two knee-bent legs, and one hand as her head immediately looked back at Raine for her countermove, and her response. Her answer was a positive one it appeared, but her actions did not justify her words. Actually, thinking back to her exact words just before she came rushing for Kikyo, they really weren’t positive at all. Something was troubling Raine, and it wasn’t the most confident thing for Kikyo to realize. Why wouldn’t she tell her?
Her own personal thoughts and recent memories took a temporary back seat as Raine was the most important thing on her mind. The woman was going on a practical suicide mission with Kikyo’s help, and she needed to be completely focused and prepared. However, that looked quite pale at the moment, and it worried the orange-haired woman. Raine came at her strong as if to make up for her earlier focus lack as she came on with a spinning kick. Kikyo formed her arms in the shape of a cross to block the kick solidly, and soon followed by solid jabs to Kikyo that seemed stronger than the next in their individual points. Now she was on fire? … what was she hiding?.. Kikyo blocked each one with her cross-armed defense, and instantly moved to spin her body as gracefully as if the wind pushed her, and aimed for a low sweep kick for Raine’s feet. Whether she hit or missed, she would back away from Raine now, and jump in the air now responding, ”Mine was enlightening!” Now Kikyo did not know how to come out and ask why Raine was somewhat lying to her and even to herself; it was her self-spoken personality that got in the way of that. All that she could do was to return Raine’s now fiery heat in the training spar. ”Wind Style: Vaccuum Sphere Jutsu!” she cried out as she jumped up, and aimed two fingers to her mouth just after forming the hand signs. At one blow, multiple air bullets came streaming down towards Raine. Perhaps the more she pushed, the more will come out in fight, spirit, and truth.

Maybe she was just trying to distract herself and lie by saying she was bothered by what Kikyo might have done when off alone. She knew she was jealous but did she really have the right to be? It wasn't like they were dating or anything. Kikyo was entitled to her privacy wasn't she and would have stuff she didn't want to share with others. She knew that as she threw her light jabs at Kikyo seeing they were effortlessly blocked. She knew this but she couldn't help feel this way when around Kikyo. The woman was sisterly to her that she noticed but she seemed to have this effect on her. This strong attraction that logic would say wasn't real but her irrational mind seemed to scream she was in love with her causing her heart to feel heavy as it beat faster in response to it. It was killing her focus despite her best attempt to ignore it all.
"How so Kikyo-san? What did you discover that changed you?" The woman seemed to be hiding her own secret which she found bothered her even more. What if her fears were confirmed and she had met someone? She knew she wouldn't leave the team so that wasn't what bothered her. It was probably just jealousy getting to her. She noticed Kikyo's look that seemed to suggest she was concerned about Raine feeling something was up. It was only matter of time before one of them was forced to confess what they were hiding. She watched Kikyo jump into the air now launching another attack now. Seeing the air bullets Raine would bring a hand to her mouth and using her Wind Release Great Breakthrough technique she would spew a steady stream of air out of mouth cancelling out the wind bullets.

What did Raine really do during that time? Kikyo only just realized that although they were part of a team, the two really didn’t discuss much Hell Butterflies business which would all lead to her eventful match between her and Zidane, her cousin. Kikyo did not plan to just be a silent partner in all of this, yet she never realized just how little she knew about Raine, and how she aimed to defeat her cousin. What were her abilities? What was she capable of? She probably didn’t even know what Kikyo was capable of herself. All of these thoughts flashed into the woman’s mind just after she finished blocked Raine’s jabs. Even as she thought about the fight, she realized that her jabs strengthened but slowly slowed down in force coming to the final blows which were easily blocked. It was slowly starting to come to Kikyo that this training session to prepare for this final battle was becoming a dramatic joke. The two’s heads were not in the game, especially not Raine’s, and she was now past the borderline of “concerned”. Whatever was getting to this group’s leader’s mind, it had to be resolved before it reared its head again in the worst of positions, namely the fight with Zidaine. Kikyo was more concerned about Raine than anything else in that moment.
She jumped just as Raine made her own response, one that was more concerned about Kikyo than about herself. Why was she moving the conversation to about Kikyo? Why was Raine acting so secretive around her? The whole thing was starting to get to Kikyo, especially because it was this sort of thing that could lead a shinobi to their doom in a battle, and end life. This thought along actually frustrated Kikyo: an emotion rare to her, and one that she always had under control on a regular basis, but the very thought of her new friend doing this so close to one of the biggest fights of her life, and she could be jeopardizing her very life, and even her teammates, with some sort of problem that she wasn’t telling her, on top of that, she was barely even sharing what she planned to do with Zidaine. Kikyo being frustrated is something that should not be tapped into. Just after she witnessed Raine’s defense with her Great Breakthrough, she fell to the ground gracefully, and looked up with no more compassion in her eyes, but determination, passion and a hint of anger. What was Raine doing?.. but after she asked her question to Kikyo, the woman couldn’t help but think back to her thoughts in Konoha, whom she encountered, and the fun she had in the final couple days in the Village before leaving. She thought about one particular person, yet the storm in her eyes did not dissipate. Unless Raine was a mind reader, she wouldn’t be able to get past what she could clearly see in front of her. Kikyo casted more hand signs and created two Shadow Clones. ”Forget about me, Raine-san. Tell me what’s really bothering you!” her forcefulness was unleashed through her passion. One Shadow Clone created hand signs and thrusted one of her hands onto the stony ground, at which point a surge of lightning was strongly coming towards Raine as it strided through the earth with surging power like an earthquake. Meanwhile, another clone and the real Kikyo charged for Raine with their arms outstretched behind their backs alongside the streaming lightning. One Kikyo jumped in the air while the other was ready to land a kick for Raine’s stomach area.

A joke. This was what their fight and training was turning out to be. She'd been so confident and bold in the beginning but now it didn't even seem fun anymore almost pointless. The goal had been lost in her distraction of her feelings for Kikyo. She'd curse herself why couldn't it wait? Why couldn't her mind wait until training had ended before just spilling everything. It was just so frustration and it was that which made Raine's focus deteriorate more and more by the minutes that passed. Kikyo wanted answers so why was she avoiding them? Was she afraid to admit she had met someone else and liked them? What if Kikyo did like her and hated her after learning this. No Kikyo didn't seem like the type but with love one could never be too sure. It was a mystery to even her but she knew it made her jealous to think Kikyo may have met another and taken interest in them and not her.
She hated that it all seemed so distracting to her. She could not afford such a thing when facing her cousin in battle. He would surely slaughter her if he so chose to. He hadn't killed her before but who was to say he wouldn't this time either. She would scowl damn it all what could she do? She could see her own distraction and avoiding Kikyo's questions was upsetting her now. She seemed angry almost and in her eyes she could see it plain as day as the woman formed two shadow clones now. "These feelings I have for you. I just can't forget them. They eat away at me and make me jealous." She watched as Kikyo's clone launched an attack now. Activating her devil's eyes main ability time seemed to slow down if only briefly allowing her to dodge the attack narrowly. Unsheathing her sword and releasing already stored up wind chakra in it she would swing sending and arc of highly concentrated wind towards her clone. Then she saw one Kikyo coming at her and heart would swell up. "Am I in love with her?" The words would escape her now as felt the kick connect now sending her backwards crashing to the ground hard. The answer that came to mind was yes. Now she could only wonder how Kikyo would take it all in.

Kikyo’s spirit and drive pushed her to the offensive: this spar between herself and Raine was always meant to be serious, as both of them were preparing for a fight that none of them could even predict. It would take them at their best to stand a chance against the unknown, and yet there they were just playing games as if they were children. This only made Kikyo pissed because Raine was not taking their partnership seriously. At this rate, she would surely fall to her cousin, and the thought of her wasting her life as she pursued her life’s greatest goal to date as a tragedy, especially if she was there unable to stop it. It genuinely pissed her off, and she showed it through her fighting. What was also interesting was just what in this wide shinobi world could throw off Raine? ..when they first met, she was one of the most determined women Kikyo has came across aside from herself, and she loved that about her. Now, it seemed like a complete turn-off to Kikyo. It honestly just made her that much more curious as to what could be that had her mind off of her cousin.
She watched with intensified eyes with the heat of battle rather than the warmth of her kindness; she watched as Raine instinctively released her own Kekkei Genkai to help slow down her Earth Flash Jutsu temporarily for her to escape. She also saw her unsheath her sword to release an arc of chakra-infused wind for her airborne clone, and by hitting her successfully it worked, but unknown as to if Raine even saw the third Kikyo, which she should have, it still resulted in the real one kicking her squarely in her stomach which skillfully sent her backwards in the ground. Kikyo couldn’t slow the attack down, much less stop it. She was very willing to just after she heard Raine say something that completely took her by surprise. The kick afterwards would not be the most pleasing motion after asking that question. The other Shadow Clone disappeared while Kikyo stood still, standing as if in awe as the heat in her eyes died down to her usual gentle warmth. It was just awkward now..
”Love me?” were the only words that could come out of her mouth. Honestly, Kikyo had never looked at Raine like that. Though she did admire her very much, and did find her attractive and sweet in her own way, their paths intertwined in a much more intense way; one far from a romantic aspect, but apparently, that may not have been true. Kikyo soon raised her hand to brush some of the strands of her hair from in front her face. Looking at Raine as she recovered herself, she could not help but think back to someone as the word of “love” came up. With that on her mind now, it was even more awkward for Kikyo, and unfortunately, she started to blush, and look away from Raine briefly.

Raine could see that Kikyo wasn't happy now the way she fought more fiercely now. This was supposed to be serious training and her mind wasn't in it. They were facing someone they knew little about skill-wise. Besides his Kekkai Genkai he'd no doubt mastered to her level or higher he would possess other techniques as well. She could only assume he might possess something of her own nature like fire or wind possibly earth. She felt bad for making Kikyo upset with her like this. "I'm sorry." She would say to the woman as she crashed to the ground having defeated the clone only to be struck by another's kick. Her confession had slipped out and looking at the woman now she could see she was shocked by it all.
"I don't know to be honest. I have these feelings when I'm around you but I have them for another." She would reply sitting up now as she looked down at her hands now clenching them tight. She hated being so confused about it all. Meeting Katsuko she had deep feelings for her as well. Kikyo had shown her a sisterly side upon their initial meeting but this woman had flirted with her and gotten her worked admitting she liked Raine and she had liked her in return. Looking up now she would see Kikyo blush before looking away from her and her heart would sink knowing it wasn't for her. "You have feelings for another don't you?" She would ask getting to her feet now dusting her bottom off. Then she would move to collect her sword now. It would make sense for why she was so distracted as well. "You don't have to hide him from me. When your away from the team you're free to do as you please." Raine would add now smiling at the woman. If she was to reject her she could take it. Maybe it was just a passing fancy but she knew for sure she cared deeply for another and that person was Katsuko.

Her clones would have disappeared by now, leaving a very bewildered young bright-haired woman standing on the cold stony ground with her blue eyes bulged, and lips folded. She didn’t even know what to do with her hands, so she formed her arms as if for a hug as she folded them around her own waist. It was hard to explain why this was so weird to hear, and it just threw Kikyo off. The wind blew slightly picking up the dust and pebbles from the ground to fly past both women. The cold atmosphere was another nice touch to the scene. It was like the perfect play unfolding before an audience’s eyes – just how else would she take to hear that Raine loved her? ..she knew the woman enough to tell how she meant it as well; there was no mistaking. She continued to look at her as if dumbfounded, or trapped in a Genjutsu. Could be it one? ”What are you talking about?”
Kikyo listened; more attentively than she usually did just to understand what was going on. She didn’t feel anything like that from Raine; just her passion for revenge and absolution. There was nothing romantic at all ..but Kikyo thought back, back to that day when they met, and as she focused on that scene, the woman couldn’t help but gasp very slightly at what she remembered. All those times Raine blushed, or looked away at times, or stuff her mouth with the rice balls. The signs really were there, but she herself never bothered to see him as she was blinded by her own passion for justice and helping a new friend. Her eyes were suddenly lowered and slightly squinted while looking down. How were they gonna get past this? Worse was how she could tell Raine that she couldn’t return her feelings.. not now..... not after what happened to Kikyo herself. She listened to Raine talk about her feelings, and it just started to make her hurt ..but Kikyo looked up quickly with her eyes blinking and focused again. It was at the point where Raine confessed having the same feelings for another. Kikyo didn’t know how to feel about that part of it, but all that she cared to know was that it made things a little easier to handle. She watched Raine struggle to cope with what she had to say, or how she felt – Kikyo would have assumed that this was the first time Raine liked someone the way she acted. Kikyo regained her form, and started to walk over to the knelt raven-haired woman. She was almost directly in front Raine, watching her clench her fists in mental struggle, but stopped instantly as Raine asked simply if she liked someone else. She looked at Raine, and gently gave her a smile as she dusted herself off while standing upright now.
”Yes.” was all that she could say to Raine, that was the simplest answer to her question. No explanations, excuses, or sympathies. Raine was simply brilliant at deducting; even as she new as may be to this, she was no stranger to common sense. Kikyo wasn’t even aware that she was showing it, or how Raine even picked up that it was a “him”. Kikyo made her own speculations, walked over to Raine, took her sword from her to plunge it into the ground, and embrace her with a hug as her own chin rested on Raine’s head while hugging her. She didn’t care how awkward it may be for her, especially with her chest being in the way. Right now, in Kikyo’s mind, that wasn’t the least important. ”I want you to know..... that I was starting to like you. You’re so strong and passionate ...I wanted to get to know you more. To travel with you perhaps. And be with you more.” She squeezed her tighter, and unexpectedly, Raine would feel something wet fall on her cheek – a single tear came from Kikyo’s eye hiddem away by her hair. ”When you told me about your mission, I was worried for you. I was scared that something would happen to you, and I can say that’s because I liked you .....it just formed into a different kind of ‘like’; I didn’t even realize it myself until now ...... I’m sorry, Raine.”
She let her go, and brushed her own hair from her face as some was undone from the band holding it all in a ponytail from earlier. ”I did meet someone.. just a few days ago ...and I’m going to see where it goes. But if you share the exact same feelings for another, Raine..... please find happiness; find it in them. Don’t let it cloud your plan for Zero .... but let it fuel you to find happiness beyond your success.” Kikyo smiled genuinely with her eyes closed; letting a warmness fill her as she did it. Raine could now have something to fight for, to protect: her own happiness. With that, she could fight again..

"I don't know anymore. I just feel so lost in it all." Raine would simply reply letting her head fall now. She could see the other woman was clearly shocked and unsure about it all. She had expected such a response to happen despite her best hopes. Logic had told her these feelings were all in her head. A simple crush and nothing more and maybe she should have listened. Her feelings for Katsuko now they had been clear. She was in love with the woman and in return the woman loved her in a more than sisterly way as she clearly knew Akoshi had been treating her as such. Still she had been so confused and unsure about those feelings for Kikyo that she felt she just had to air them out with her friend. Now that she had she just felt lost in it all no longer sure what to say. She just wanted to run away from it all now curl up somewhere and just hide from the world.
Looking up at Kikyo again she noticed she still looked lost as well. "I'm sorry." She would mutter eyes tearing up now. Sorry for feeling this way when it was obvious Kikyo didn't see her as such. For not listening to reason when it was so clear and obvious to her. For ruining their training session which was supposed to have been a serious moment for the two allowing such unsure feelings to cloud her mind and distract her from the task at hand. She knew she shouldn't let such things cloud her mind but she just felt desperate to find some form of happiness again. Hatred and revenge had never been her growing up before the massacre. So carefree and naive to the world that was the happiness she sought. Now she just felt alone walking down this path of darkness and revenge without a light to guide her. She would look to Kikyo as she simply replied yes that she had found someone.
"I'm glad." A odd response for sure considering she had just confessed but a sense of relief washed over the petite woman. That knowing someone else liked Kikyo and that she seemed to like them back. Knowing she might be happy with them was just enough for her to be able to accept Kikyo could never be hers allowing her to begin the process of moving past her. A lucky guess maybe that she had guessed it was a guy but it wasn't like it mattered if it had been a woman she liked in the end. She would back up hearing footsteps from Kikyo only to have her sword ripped from her hand and placed into the ground. She had honestly expected a hard slap and not the hug that followed the removal of her sword feeling the taller woman's chin on top of her now. She simply stood there unsure what to do in return. She knew it was a sincere hug but nothing more than that just simply a gesture a friend or sister might do to comfort another.
She remained silent as Kikyo spoke now hugging her still. Of how in the beginning she had liked her the way she had liked her only to have changed. She would close her eyes as she felt her squeeze her feeling something wet hit her cheek. It wasn't raining so she knew it was something else. Hearing her apologize she would sigh lightly once released looking up at Kikyo as she stepped back a little now. "Don't apologize it's my fault. I knew you felt differently from the beginning I was just in denial. I was desperate for some kind of happiness and it was wrong of me. I just want us to remain as we were before." Raine would say now trying to muster a smile. One that showed understanding that she meant what she said. She remained silent as Kikyo then spoke of the one she had found and that she wanted to be with them to see where it might go. Raine would smile as she continued giving her advice like she had always done before.
"I do know that I love Katsuko so I know I will get over this eventually. She makes me happy and I want to see where it goes so I am truly happy for you the one who has captured your heart Kikyo-san. Some part of me wants to believe that someday my love for Katsuko will be strong enough to steer me away from revenge to finally find the happiness I desperately seek. Until then I will strengthen my resolve and focus on my revenge. Thank you." Raine would reply moving to collect her sword now gripping it tight. Then a serious expression donned her facial features a smirk now forming. "Just know if he ever hurts you and I find out I will make him pay. That's what friends do so there's no changing my mind on that subject. Now how about we break for lunch and then pick up where we left off?"

Holding Raine as she was, Kikyo could almost feel her; beyond their physical embrace. Kikyo felt more at ease with Raine, and she could feel how she felt it seemed. She could feel her fear, confusion and pain. With a combination of such distraught feelings, she couldn’t really feel mad at her anymore. As she talked to her and confessed what she did, she did it with happiness in her heart, and care in her soul. Raine was now a special person in her life that she’d wish to protect with all of her being. Even though it seemed odd, especially since the women haven’t known each other that long, it was just how Kikyo was. Even though there was now probably more to Kikyo’s story and new characters in her life, that didn’t mean how she felt for Raine would change. Meeting the man named Dashe was something she would always treasure, and could only hope to continue seeing how good it could turn out, but what she had with Raine was present and real. She let a second teardrop fall to Raine’s raven-coloured hair before letting go of her.
She listened to what Raine had to say, and stood there with her hands cupped in front of her as she did. She nodded, and gave Raine her usual warm smile to brighten the mood, and the scene. There was absolutely no room for drama or wasted time at this point. ”Nothing is wrong with seeking happiness. Like I said, let it be your light; even if I’m not there.” Her classy head tilt to the side with a smile of her lips, and closed eyes followed shortly by that line. The important thing was that the two stay true to themselves, and to not let negativity blind their sights. Plus, to have something to fight for was always an advantage to strive for success even further. Raine now had more to fight more, and in a way, so did Kikyo. As she smiled, she hoped Raine’s smile would lift as well.
Raine talked more about her side of the story; one of the things that Kikyo first picked up on was the name of the woman she liked. She instantly read more into it, and made the connection. So, it would be the third member of their group – Kikyo had no idea that the two shared an attraction, and she was yet to meet this woman. However, she didn’t worry about it at all. She could only hope that no drama stemmed from it – she would doubt that Katsuko knew about how Raine felt for Kikyo, so learning that could start very unnecessary tension and lack of focus. However, Kikyo didn’t start to worry; she only felt happy that Raine was on the edge of love. Finding love in such a hopeless place was a rare gift that any romantic would gun for. She also blushed at Raine’s own congratulations, and now Dashe was running through her mind again. It made her blue eyes closed only slightly, but soon, she broke out of it as Raine finally thanked her for what she said. She nodded to her dear friend with a grin on her face rather than a warm smile. She just loved Raine for her wittiness, and her own protective nature. ”I’ll let him know that next time I see him……... and no, no I don’t believe you earned a break for that performance.” She made a stance, and made hand signs on the spot. ”It was just getting fun…” she giggled as a burst of wind suddenly brushed past Raine as if emanating from Kikyo herself, and in the flash of an eye, her body began to glow an eerie white with the wind picking up and swishing about around the area where Kikyo exactly stood.

As much as she wanted to cry during her confession she wouldn't. She wouldn't allow herself to break down any further. She had said what she wanted to say and there was no going back now. No pretending Kikyo hadn't heard any of it. No pretending she had never meant what she said or what she had felt. She hated the feeling of being rejected over a crush but she would get over it because she knew no matter what Kikyo would always want to remain her friend if anything else. It would take time to fully get over what she had felt for the woman but she had Katsuko too. She wanted to explore the deep feelings they had for one another and in time all would be forgotten of her crush on Kikyo. Someday she might tell her about but that wouldn't be until she felt she was fully over Kikyo or strife arose between the two for whatever reason that it happened to be. "I do long for it. It's just so hard deciding what I want more my revenge or love." It would take more time to make a decision on that question. She couldn't know for sure until she faced her cousin and confronted him. Hear his side of the story for what happened that night. Then she had to take into account what she felt for Katsuko and weigh them against another. She could only hope she didn't let her hatred towards Zidane blind her and get her killed like it almost had when facing off against his consort Jojo Kaguya. She would glance up at Kikyo as the woman responded of passing on Raine's threat to this man she was dating. "Take care of him Kikyo-san. He must really be special one in a million." Raine would speak up now a heartfelt smile on her face. She wanted her to be happy so that it might empower her more this growing love she had for the man. She could only hope her love for Katsuko empowered her in the same way. "Fair enough Kikyo-san. Let us continue." Raine would then shield herself from the sudden burst of wind. Looking up she would notice Kikyo's body emitting some kind of faint glow as the wind seemed to pick up around where she stood. Then by her eyes connecting with Kikyo's it happened. Darkness fell around Kikyo as she used Journey into Black Darkness Technique on her which would cause Kikyo to be enveloped in total darkness. While in the black void Kikyo would be unable to see any incoming attack or threat as Raine came at her from behind now bringing a hand as she used Great Breakthrough technique unleashing a steady stream of gale force winds from her mouth capable of leveling a house if hit by. Should her attack fail or hit Raine would disappear into the black void again.
