Akagahara was notoriously known as the, for lack of a better word, shittier bar in Shimagakure - especially when compared to Nikushimi just around the block. While Nikushimi had its flashy appearance and immaculate interior, it just wasn't Hikari's style. She felt more at home in the rough and tumble bar of Akagahara. They were also the only bar in town that would personally cater to her sweet tooth.
Hikari currently sat in one of the far corners of the bar, out of the way from the regular boisterous crowd, sipping at a bright pink concoction that the bartender had created on the spot. She was fairly certain that it contained at least half a bottle of liqueur and minimal other flavorings. It was certainly not a drink that the weak of stomach would be able to handle. Hikari, on the other hand, loved anything sweet and sugary - which surprised most because of her not-so-sweet personality.
The blonde raised a brow in slight interest as a fight began to break out near the bar. This was a typical sight though, so she paid attention to it for only a brief moment. It would more than likely be broken up in a matter of minutes, anyways, and the men wouldn't dare come in her direction. Even Hikari had a reputation in this bar.

Suigetsu stood outside the Nikushimi hands on his hips as he stared up at the fancy front door sign now, Kubikiribocho strapped to his back as always. A fancy sophisticated place by the looks of it. Suigetsu would frown tilting his head a little bit now. A bar was just a place to get drinks and to congregate talking about rumors and anything that was happening right now. Why did this place have to be so fancy and stick out like a sore thumb? He'd frown a little deeper his shark-like teeth showing right now. He'd shake his head lastly and start walking away rounding the corner and heading towards the Akagahara. Now that was his kinda bar to hang out in despite the constant fighting now and again. No one would mess with him due to his reputation and connection to Sasuke. That and his hydration technique just made it sort of pointless unless one had lightning releases techniques.
He'd step in through the front door now witnessing a fight that had broken out. This seemed to stop as most eyes came to rest on his talking dropping to that of whispers and muttering now. He'd smirk showing his shark-like teeth a bit more and proceeded to walk over to the bar now. That being done talking picked up again and he was forgotten by most. He'd mutter his order for a glass of water to the bartender before leaning back against the bat glancing around the room and spotted a familair blonde haired woman. He'd feel a nudge and reached back to grab his glass of water before pushing off the bar heading towards Ishida now smirking. Some eyes would follow his path and whispers would follow shaking their heads as Suigetsu approached Ishida now.
Most knew not to mess with her let alone flirt. She just didn't generally seem interested in men and if she was well she had a special one in mind most likely. "Hikari-chan what brings you here? Come here often? Meeting anyone for a hot date?" He'd sit down beside her now setting his glass of water on the table chuckling lightly. She just seemed to be drinking right now but you could never know. She might've been here to meet a date or something he thought with a light shrug. She didn't seem to interested in dating to him and if she was well she had someone special in mind already. He had to admit after their fight before he liked her a lot for her spunk and attitude and it seemed she had liked him too though she hadn't openly admitted it. He sipped his glass of water now and sighed with relief.

The fight suddenly stopped, which was unusual considering most altercations were broken up by some other rowdy patron of the bar. Hikari usually paid no mind to anyone other than herself while in Akagahara, but this anomaly was enough to catch her attention. She glanced up from her drink to see the entire bar motionless, everyone was turned toward the entrance. From her vantage point, she could just make out the unmistakable blue-white head of hair in the doorway - Suigetsu.
Her pulse quickened at the thought of him. Hikari had never experienced this kind of rush of feelings before, but she was enjoying it (especially since she had a few drinks in her system). Her mind drifted to her initiation earlier in the week - the fight with Suigetsu. Nobody had ever been able to keep up with her in a battle before, and the fact that he actually gave her a challenge sent shivers up her spine.
Suigetsu ordered a drink from the bar and headed in her direction, drink in hand. "Is that a water...?" she asked with a brow raised, ignoring his initial questions. They were stupid anyways. She obviously came to the bar to get intoxicated, hence the drink in front of her; and, for his next question, she didn't know if she wanted him to know that she did, indeed, come here a lot. As for the last and most stupid of all, hell no she was not on a date. She almost laughed out loud at the thought of dating any of the common citizens in the city.
"Why are you here," Hikari countered, still ignoring his question as he sat beside her in her small nook. She didn't know how she felt about his close proximity, so she turned back to her drink, hoping to find an answer at the bottom.

"Yeah's its water Hikari-san. Gotta stay hydrated and what not and well alcohol aint a real good combo with my hydration techniquue." He knew she had ignored his initial questions. They had been playful jabs to get her to open up. She wasn't too social with others other than him and Sasuke. He'd notice how she seemed to react around him though. She get a little flustered though she normally hit it well and had really tried hard to impress him when others normally never bothered too. Younger he had never really cared much for anything other than his dreams including girls. At her question he looked up grinning slightly now teeth showing a little.
"Just thought I'd drop in and see you Hikari-san. You really impressed me before and I was sorta hoping to hang out some more with you." He raised his glass of water and took a big gulp leaving about half it's contents inside whereas it had been full before. He could see she was a little uneasy about his close proximity but she didn't seem to mind too much as her mind seemed a bit elsewhere thinking about something. His mind seemed stuck on her lately though he thought as he looked at her again. How did she really feel about him? Was he her type and would she ever want to date someone like him? There was only one way he'd find out really.
"I'm surprised you don't go out on dates Hikari-san. Your pretty hot and goodlooking to me. Anyone would be lucky to have a catch like you. If I could I'd surely date someone like you." He paused sipping his water a few times setting the glass down again. "So having fought me what's your opinion of me? " He'd fall silent again awaiting her responses now. From that he was bound to find out what her interest and types in men were. Moreso he felt more compelled so see how she felt about him the most. It was odd really the feeling he got around her. Karin fawning over Sasuke had always irked and disgusted him but here was someone who possibly had a thing for him and the thought made him smile lightly rather happy knowing that.

"You have to be the only person, in the history of this planet, to come to a bar and specifically order water," Hikari said without a second glance at him, she was too busy trying to stare down the bar tender to cue him to make another drink for her. When she finally caught his attention she turned back to Suigetsu. "You're strange."
She didn't bother to elaborate, her explanation was short and sweet. Minus the sweet. Never in her life had she met met a world renown Nukenin as laid back and normal as the one sitting beside her. From her experience, they were typically more cold and conniving, only caring about themselves and their well being, and they most definitely had hidden agendas. So what was Suigetsu's?
Hikari was about to ruthlessly question him, but the bartender serving her her drink interrupted her. She immediately tipped the glass back, finishing half of it in one gulp. It was significantly stronger than the other drinks she had had, and it burned all the way down her throat. She slammed the glass down on the table, nearly shattering it from the force. That prick made her drink wrong; had Suigetsu not been in the way of her and the bartender... Well, let's just say it wouldn't have ended pretty.
The blonde took a deep breathe to cool her temper, a trick she had picked up over the years. Maybe Suigetsu's questions weren't so bad after all - she could be stuck with a bigger idiot. She sighed, running a hand through her long hair, finally deciding to open up a bit. "I know I'm hot," she began oh so humbly. "My looks, however, are the least of my concerns at the moment. I'm not looking to date either, considering my plate is pretty full at the moment. Ya know, joining a group of outcasts and traitors to exact my revenge and all. Frankly, I'm surprised you even have time to think of women - considering all the bounties on your head. And I would suggest thinking long and hard before asking me what I think of you, I usually have a habit of making people cry when I answer."
That last part was a lie, however. Hikari was actually very intrigued by Suigetsu. He was strong, maybe even stronger than her, and definitely unique. Hikari wasn't used to this type of feeling before, so she chose to push it aside and be her normal bitchy self. She glared down at her drink again; maybe after this one was finished she would be able to open up more.

"I-I am not Hikari-san. I'm sure others have before. I get dehydrated a lot so I constantly have to drink it so sue me." He scowled looking away from her now arms crossed against his chest. The two of them were supposed to be getting along but she seemed in a cranky mood of sorts. She seemed more interested in her drinks really. He looked back watching her flag the bartender for another drink. She seemed like the typical rogue ninja focused only on her goals and nothing else. Letting someone in close seemed to be the least of her priorties though he could be wrong ignorant of her true feelings. He shurgged and sipped his water some more watching the bartender walk over to serve her now. About she downed about half of it Hikari then slammed it down on the table clearly disappointed.
Suigetsu simply shrugged not caring since it wasn't his problem. Water was easy to get and there was no way to screw it so he couldn't complain. Plus she was in a mood it seemed so no use pushing her buttons anymore than the bartender had. "Sheesh sorry I asked Hikari-san a simple no not interested would've sufficed. Not like I care about the bounties. If I want someone then I'll do whatever it takes to get them." He smirked leaning forward now eyes piercing into her own like sending her a message. He then shrugged and leaned back glancing around the room spotting a few pretty things sitting in a corner on the other side of the room. Glancing at Hikari he smiled curious if he could get her to show she cared about him more than she admitted by flirting. He then raised his glass at the girls and tipped it a little a faint smirk on his face when one of them smiled tipping their glass back to him.

Hikari glanced over as Suigetsu crossed his arms across his chest because she had insulted him. Could he really not take a joke - she had only been messing around with him. However, she couldn't deny that he didn't look a little cute when he was sulking.
Woah, woah, woah, Hikari, she thought to herself with a shake of her head. You're supposed to be working on getting revenge for your family, remember? Not checking out super crazy strong wanted criminals. However, she reasoned, she had still never met anyone quite as powerful as him before and it wasn't like there were many men like that in the world. Would it really hurt anyone to allow herself to get close to this one?
Before answering that, she took a small sip of her drink again. She scowled at it one last time before picking it up and throwing it at the wall across the room, directly above the girls that Suigetsu was trying to flirt with. She chuckled to herself with the hint of a smirk on her thin lips. Oopsie.
Hikari attempted to look nonchalant about the situation, which was entirely ridiculous in her opinion, but the horrified looks of the two girls made her collapse into a fit of laughter. The alcohol, having just hit her, was the main culprit of her giggles, and whether or not that was a bad thing was yet to be determined.
When her laughter ceased, she looked up at Suigetsu with the same piercing stare that he had given her just a minute ago. She didn't know what she was doing, but whatever it was seemed like a good idea in her nearly drunken state. "I don't understand you at all," she said rather quickly. "Why would you waste your time on such weak things like those? The only relationships worth having are those that are your equals. Like you and me - you're just as strong as I am, right?"

He knew she was messing around he supposed he was just slipping into a bad mood or something. Most likely because he really did like her and wasn't just saying things to flatter her. Still she didn't seem too interested right now which kind of disappointed him. He knre pushing the matter would only annoy and upset her so maybe he'd just drop it for now and bring it up another time when she was in a better mood and not drinking so much. Anything she said now would either be true or false and afterwards when she was sober well things would probably go back to normal and professional.
The thought cause him to sigh lightly and looking back to the girls was about to raise a hand to wave and wink when a glass flew past him and shattered against the wall behind the girls. This of course caused them to shriek lightly and gathering their things shuffled out of the bar. Blinking a bit Suigetsu looked back to Hikari when he heard giggling and chuckled lightly perhaps she had noticed after all and gotten jealous. "Oh well they were probably airheads anyways." He blinked a little at her piercing stare falling silent when she suddenly spoke. "Oh?" He raised a curious brow as she continued now. For someone who had not seemed that interested in like that with him she was asking things like someone who did care.
"I was just messing with them to get a reaction out of you Hikari-san." A serious expression donned his face now mouth forming a thin line eyes staring back into hers now. "And I can't really see myself with just any woman. My woman should be my equal in more ways than one and yes just as strong who shares my goals also. You and I would probably make a perfect match if we hooked up but that's just my opinion. Why do you care anyways not like your into me anyways right?" He grabbed his glass now looking away from her and swashed it's contents around a little before looking to the bartender now shaking it at him signaling he wanted another glass. He then closed his eyes and leaned back in his chair wondering how she'd respond now.

Hikari didn't even try to hide her smirk at his answer - of course he was attracted to her, why wouldn't he be? She had the looks and figure that men lusted after and women envied. She was confident that she was one of the strongest women in all of Shimagakure, and it was very likely that she was one of the deadliest in all of the shinobi world. How could he not be even the slightest bit infatuated with her?
Don't take that the wrong way, Hikari was by no means a conceited or narcissistic woman. She was simply confident in herself, however slightly leaning more towards the arrogant side now that she had a few drinks in her system. There was nothing wrong with being proud of yourself. Not one thing at all.
Hikari only then realized that Suigetsu had asked her a question and was waiting for her response. Why did she care? Obviously she had some sort of connection with him since he chose to allow her onto his team. They were teammates, comrades, and allies. They were expected to work together to bring down whatever enemy came their way and find other members to join them. But was there something else there, hidden beneath the surface?
The woman's thin brows scrunched together in thought as she pondered the question further. She gently bit her bottom lip in thought as she gathered her wits to answer him. "I honestly don't know," she stated half-heartedly after a moment. "We're supposed to be working together, and everyone knows you're not supposed to fool around with the people you work with. Duhh."

Suigetsu liked her overconfidence and boldness. He liked that in a woman. A woman who was strong and believed in herself knowing what she wanted and not being afraid to take it. Suigetsu was the same way to be honest. He was overconfident in his abilities and his dream to become the new leader of the new seven swordsman. He believed nothing would stop him from accomplishing his dream of greatness and that he could kill anyone who tries to stop him even Sasuke and his former teammates of team hebi. He smirked at the thought and realizing she had finally answered him looked back at her now. He simply smirked clasping his hands together now.
"Since when has that ever stopped you Hikari-san. I don't care what anyone thinks about us. If we wanna date and go out then screw them. Honestly you seem like the type that wouldn't care about rules or things like that either. Someone who just takes what they want. Someone a lot like me." He smirked over at her leaning in a bit closer so that his face was inches from hers. He'd lick at his lips a bit and then he closed the gap kissing her deep and passionately. After a few minutes he'd pull back with a smirk sitting back down. "I like you Hikari-san and I don't care who knows it. Question is do you feel the same way about me?"

Hikari was not expecting that kiss, and her first instinct told her to slice the asshole's throat. She quickly reached into her pocket and pulled out her trusted butterfly knife, but then she remembered that it was Suigetsu whose lips were pressed against her own. A growl formed in her throat as he pulled away from her; she did not like being caught off guard.
"You really shouldn't do that," she said fiercely, stabbing her knife into the table with enough force to knock over her glass. But behind her anger was something else that she didn't want to admit at the moment. She was nervous. She had really meant what she had said before about getting with people you work for - she didn't want to mess up the opportunity she had been given. Her body, however, was telling her the exact opposite.
"Oh, fuck it," she said, mentally pushing all of her doubts to the side. She wanted Suigetsu, and she wanted him now. She pushed his shoulders back into the booth and slid onto his lap in one fluid motion. She looked into his eyes with a hungry look that said you do not know what you've just gotten yourself into.
Hikari not so gently pulled the man's head to her lips. She nibbled at his bottom lip, gently at first and then a bit more roughly. She pulled away to breathe, and paused to gauge Suigetsu's reaction. She knew she was handful, but he, on the other hand, was sure to be a little surprised at her tenacity.

Suigetsu simply smirked as he pulled back seeing her draw out a knife of some sort as she growled. He had caught her offguard it seemed and could tell she wasn't pleased about that. No one liked to be caught offguard especially someone like him or her. "Oh?" He simply smirked more hearing her slam the knife into the table now seeing she was a little but it didn't really seem directed at him at least not entirely. No she seemed to be masking something hiding something she didn't want him or anyone else to see.
He would shrug he had no regrets in what he had done and well if she wanted to kill him she wouldn't be able to. He blinked a bit hearing her curse out loud before suddenly finding her in his lap as she then pushed him back into the booth giving him a look that said she wanted him badly and that he was in over his head with her but he didn't care he simply smirked back at her. He smiled when she pulled him back in feeling her nibble on his lower lip causing him to moan gently a bit as he licked at her lips a bit. He was a little surprised by her tenacity but that was one of the things he liked most about her. He smiled and kissed her deep and passionately again.
