A blond haired girl in a skirt and tank top wandered up and down a section of the coast, that was populated with boys. She smiled and waved her flirty little wave, and moved past them to her beach towel. The day was beautiful, bright and sunny, there was no need for the girl to worry at all about anything. Well almost nothing, this particular girl was a chuunin and while she should be studying or practicing, she preferred the beach, boys and books to all of that.
Kiliki, or Kiki as her friends called her plopped down on her towel and pulled up her one medic book, figuring she start on that, but well that didn't last to long, becuase in the middle of her book landed a frizzbe. She looked up and seen a handsome boy standing in front of her saying something about what landed in her lap. "Don't worry about it." She said in a flirty voice as she handed it back to him, and he left her to go back to his friends.
Kiki didn't return to her book after that, she spent the next amount of time staring. She was so focused on the boys that she didn't hear anyone walk up on her.

Mae was out on her normal duties besides her medic training at the hospital she watched the coast just to make sure no enemy ninja would come an attack. It was a promise she had made to her brother to watch his body or well grave. She had been pretty good since his passing and she didn’t act like a normal teenager. She headed out to coast with her katana strapped to her side and Hotaru strapped to her other side. It was nice to see people enjoying the coast again and life was almost normal. Of course this kunoichi always felt like the eyes stared at her because people knew her and they knew her family. She looked seeing her best friend Kiliki flirting with some boy. Mae wondered sometimes how she made it through the academy or even her genin exams. Of course this female was serious about her work in the medic field and had one of the best mentors in Kumo. A little smirk came across her face as she decided to sneak up on her as she was intense with a boy. Mae rarely seen boys as an issue she’d rather complete her training. She snuck up quietly holding out her one dagger knowing it would be too funny to see her friend’s reaction. Mae crouched down as she got to her friend and held up one part of Hotaru to her neck. “You know a shinobi’s best skill is to be on alert even when a boy is in there presences.” The blond female spoke with a little smile on her face.

It was to late she felt the cold steel of a bade on her neck, she was in for if this was a test she failed and if it wasn't then she was in big trouble. Kiki knew she was in trouble how to get out of it was her question. She was quick, but how quick was her opponate. This all ran through her head in a matter of seconds before the person even begain to speak. When they finally did say somethin she knew who it was. She smiled and knew that mae was fast, but she shouldn't be expecting Kiki to reach up and grab her hand and flip her over so she was on her back.
"You should know that i'm best at hand to hand, and the closer you are the better i am." She said with a laugh and looked back towards the boys, they had stopped and watched the two girls. Then she turned her attention back to Mae. "Don't you have any fun." Kiki was about fun, and enjoying life not working really hard to stress herself out. Kiki flipped her hair back over her shoulder and waved to the boys who went back to their game.
Mae was someone to look up to, she did her work and more. She was basically the person to beat in the medic's in training. Kiki sat back in a more relaxed position and became more aware of her surroundings which she should have been in the first place but well that wasn't any fun.

Mae knew she had her friend in a tough spot it was pretty obvious. She knew what was going through her head but she needed to teach her friend a very important lesson about slacking off with boys. The female pulled her dagger away from her as her friend spoke about being good at hand to hand combat. She merely rolled her eyes and laughed knowing full well she could get the advantage over her. Just showing her a cute guy was weakness enough. “Right Kiki you know I still have you beat at hand to hand combat as well everything else. Seriously what ninja lets someone sneak up on her.” She said laughing and sitting down beside her. When Kiliki asked her about having any fun she shrugged she always had the strong sense of being busy was good. “Ok you are talking to the girl who may advance earlier than everyone in our class? I’ve already started training at the hospital and well guarding the coast is shared by all shinobi. Just in case of an attack by the enemy. Or Sasuke or Alessia come on shore. Besides I have fun poking at the medical dummy at the hospital.” Mae went on this long explanation of things. Her life was far from boring any more she looked over to Kiki and her book she had. “So you are going to read a medic book?” She asked as she laid her head on her friends shoulder. “What are you doing out here anyways?” Mae added after a moment. Even in her training she knew Kiki was the girl who’d be there for her and be more relaxed about the whole thing.

Kiki smiled at Mae when she put her dagger away, she didn't like weapons they kind of freaked her out, which put her behind in some of her classes. She had to work extra hard to get past them. She didn't know why she didn't like them but she just didn't. She could use everyone of them to a certain extent, none of them was very good, but she could still use them. Mae knew that she couldn't really use them, and well sometimes she would help her practice with them.
"Oh Mae you have me beat at everything except when it comes to guys" She said as she waved at another cute guy walking past the girls. "The one who likes to have fun more than work. It will give you wrinkles if you work to hard." She said looking closely at Mae's face pointing out fake wrinkles. Then Kiki roller her eyes, she didn't care that Mae might advance faster than everyone else, she would still help her out when she needed it. "Because thats so fun." She said in a sarcastic tone of voice. She was only playing some of it really did sound like fun, but like she was going to let Mae know that.
"As a matter of fact yes i was going to try and read, but i got distracted again!" Kiki said excitedly, it wasn't all the time that she actually picked up the book and took it to the beach. "Well lets see other than sun bathing in this wonderful weather, talking to you, and watching them over there." [/b] She said and pointed out the guys. Mae laughed a little at her friend it was the fact that she had all her friend beat when it ninja training in mind. Though she just had one issue and that was taking on three genins at the then of her test. She was scared of helping kids but she also had been helping Kiki throughout their academy years and even now. It was the sense that this female was practically family as much time as the two use to spend together. She thought about Mae needed to train her friend in weapon combat. Well a bit better than what she was. The female was proud at her though for being good at hand to hand combat. “Well this is true I do have you beat at a lot of stuff. Besides when it comes to boys my sister was better than I was everyone is sweetie.” Mae said laughing a little. It was true she couldn’t flirt with a boy to save her life. It was a good thing that flirting wasn’t apart of ninja exams because she would fail miserably. She waived at a few boys walking by. She shook her head knowing why her friend wanted her to have more fun. “Well work is easy and its just a Yuuki thing. Leo did it while he was a chuunin…and she did it before she left us.” Mae she this time not even speaking her sisters name when it came to her work around the village everyone hated the younger sibling for that. “Oh you know you want to poke around it one.” She said laughing about it. “How’s I’ll hang out with you on the coast while I am on duty and if something happens you can be my back up. Otherwise we can have our girl day.” The kunoichi suggested it was the only way she could have a bit of fun and watch the coast. She had been working a lot lately to advance early and her ability was showing it. She laughed at her friend saying she was but got distracted and she knew instantly who that could be. “The boy? Why don’t you put your book away and I can teach you want you need to know. Besides I think I am better at this stuff to tell you whats going to happen than some little book.” Mae said laughing at the book. It was of course just her naturally ability to remember things so easily. She nodded when she spoke about what she was going to do. “Sounds like a fun eventful hour?” She asked her sitting there stretching out her legs.

Kiki watched the waves on the shore thinking about how they used to play here before everything happened. Their mamas used to bring them there all the time and they would attempt to build sandcastles. It just ended up looking more like piles of sand, but it was fun then. Kiki started to run her hands through the sand remembering the sandcastles. ”I agree everyone is better at boys than you are.” She said with a smirk putting on a pair of sunglasses, to help with the sun.
Kiliki looked over at Mae, at the mere mention of her brother, that was something no one liked, and everyone missed him dearly there. Kiki had a crush on him, but that she would never tell. It was her own private memory not one for everyone else. ”Well we all know about you but its hard work for me.” she said a little disappointed because she had problems with the weapons; it was amazing that they passes her.
”No I do not yet, I have to focus on learning the basics, which I can’t get down because of my stupid distractions.” Frustrated about know some of the basics but had to get better at them before she could really move on. Kiki perked up when she said that she would hang out on the coast with her, but she would have to be her back up. ”I think I can do that, just don’t expect weapons from me yet. I don’t want to hit one of the others.” She said the last part low, Mae knew why. ”Yay girl day, You’re really where that get up on our girl day?” Kiki questioned, but she didn’t care she got to hang out with her friend, and gossip. Not like they actually gossiped or anything.
Kiki was paying attention to the boys again when Mae was talking about something with her books, and her teaching her better than some book could. ”Sure, that would be awesome and maybe later when your done playing dress up, you can help me with some other basics” she said tearing her eyes away from the boys to Mae who was stretched out next to her. ”Oh it would have been and with out you I probably would have made a fool out of myself for one of these guys.” she said sweeping her hands all over the coast.

Mae didn’t have the gene of flirting with boys or caring to much about being in a relationship. She was the type to survive on her own wanting her training to be finished before she would go on to being a Jounin. The female knew she had a long ways to go and four tests that she had to do before she could move on. In her life there wasn’t a time for her to think about dating. She laughed a little when Kiki spoke about agreeing with on that. “I am just a geek, so I like my geekyness.” Mae said laughing a little at the fact of how she put herself. It was a given that she would eventually settle down with someone and she would make sure he was worth her time. The one thing this girl could figure out was the simple fact was the male she choose couldn’t be afraid of her family and had to understand her family. Leo her older brother would always be the one to actually defend her mostly when the two would hang out together. Now she was on her own and she didn’t even think her family cared that he was no longer there. “It’s not hard you just got to have confidence in yourself. I mean you’re not going to have a weapon like Hotaru. I believe you can do anything once you set your mind to it.” The female spoke with an encouraging smile on her face. She always had the faith in her best friend and every time she sparred against her she proved how much stronger she was. Weapons she knew was he down fall but it was something she knew she could do as long as she put her mind to it and keep calm. She would train her personally in weapons. They were her best friends and she kept on them.
Mae smiled a little at Kiki talking about trying to study but kept getting distracted. She thought about it, she knew her friend needed a place where she could be away from the distractions and such. “Well you just need to spend the night at my house and then we can study together and such.” the chuunin suggested knowing it was the perfect thing to do. The fact that she had the life size doll including anatomical correct features and her books all around her room. “We shouldn’t have to worry about an attack so just a girls day works! I know but you have some kick butt hand to hand I could use.” Mae added knowing any encouragement would be great for her friend. “What’s wrong with this?” She said looking down at her black cargo pants and her tank top and her headband on her arm. It wasn’t even close to being a shinobi uniform which made it all the better. She wanted to get some sun. of course she was happy just to have a girl’s day with her friend to catch up on a lot of things. “Alright so when do you want me to help you?” Mae asked knowing Kiliki wasn’t paying attention to her. She smirked looking at the boys. “Oh make a fool of yourself huh?” She said standing up and walking over to the boy who had landed on Kiki’s lap. She began to speak to him looking back once and a while to Kiki knowing she could have some more fun with this boy

Kiki laughed with her friend when she called herself a geek. It was just amazing to have a girl day with her. It had been a few weeks since they could actually sit down and talk. The last time half way through they cut it short because of training, or a mission or something equally time worthy. If there was one thing that Kiki knew about Mae it was if it wasn’t time worthy she wouldn’t do it. Their girls day was normally on a day when she had nothing going on, but Kiki didn’t matter it was just as fun interrupting work as it was when she had nothing to do.
”Easy for you to say. I mean really you are good in like everything while I like suck in almost everything.” She said with a shrug, she knew that she could do it but really when compared to Mae or anyone else the same ranking she was she sucked. True she was getting much better but she still sucked. It was hard for her always being distracted, and of course the fact that she didn’t like to actually work at everything she did. The one thing she knew she could do without much concentration was flirting. She could do that in her sleep, she was almost as good with hand to hand.
Kiki’s eyes lit up when Mae suggested spending the night at her house to learn, it would be amazing. Nothing like when they were younger, but still it was something to look forward to. ”When tomorrow night just so I can ask my mom make sure I don’t have to sit the monster.” she said to Mae. This was true some nights she would have to baby sit the little monster, her baby sister to be exact. Kiki smile widen when she said that it was just a girls day, and that she had some awesome hand to hand.
Kiliki laughed when she asked what was wrong with her outfit. ”Everything if you want to have fun!” she said continuing to laugh. ”That doesn’t scream fun it screams watch out, I want to learn and become better. Where as I” she said pointing out her outfit ”says I want to have fun!” Kiki thought about when she wanted help and knew that it wasn’t right now or anytime soon, but she did want some help. ”How about this weekend?” She asked her friend.
Kiki had seen Mae get up and she turned to look at her and asked ”What in the world are you doing?” She watched her walk over to the boys that she was staring at a moment ago. She was talking to them, why. ”Mae” She yelled over to them.

Mae loved to be a geek; it meant she could study long and hard. No one really would bother her when she actually sat down and had a book in her hand it was like she was lost forever. It made perfect for tuning out people and things that could distract her. When Kiki spoke about sucking at everything Mae shook her head. “That’s an invalid statement you don’t suck at everything. You good at hand to hand combat, I mean you’re getting to the level I am at. You are good at hand to hand combat; you’ll probably beat me in our next match!” She said as she was encouraging her friend. She knew that Kiliki was good at things most ninjas were and even if she was a typical girl who flirted. Flirting could be used as a defense like a caught off guard. Of course the female would never tell her friend that she was jealous of her being able to be so open with flirting with guys. When Kiki asked when they could of their sleep over she had to think when would be a good time for her. “Yeah tomorrow night would be wicked…Ohhh if you have to baby sit then I’ll just sneak over and hang out. My parents really don’t care at this point.” Mae suggested. She really could just sneak away from everyone just to have a sleep over with her best friend. She was still a teenager and sometimes she needed to have some fun away from everyone. Of course she loved to baby sit it was entertaining when she hung around Kiki with her little sister. The girl laughed at the fact of her outfit it did scream being a ninja she knew that. That’s why she wore a bikini top underneath. “Wait a second.” Mae said standing up and took off her tank top revealing her bright pink top. “Hows this better?” She said laughing and sitting back down. “This weekend sounds good!” She added thinking about if she was doing anything tonight. When she walked over to the guys she smirked it was more so asking them if kiki and her could play. “Kiki come over!” Mae said waiving her over.

Kiliki smiled when her friend told her that she didn’t suck at everything, but that was just her opinion about it. She wasn’t as good as Mae, yes it was true that she was getting better but was it enough to beat her. ”As long as you don’t let me win because you feel bad!” She said with a smile pushing her with enough force that if she just let it, Mae would fall over sideways.
Kiki looked at her and shook her head about the baby sitting comment. She really hoped that she wouldn’t have to sit there and baby sit her little sister, because that would be so embarrassing, and well then that meant she couldn’t focus the way she needed to because of her little sister being around. She could once she went to bed but who knew when that would be most nights. ”I really don’t want to baby sit and try and study. Because then I’ll focus more on my sister because she loves to get into everything then actually study or practice anything.
Kiki whistled as a joke when Mae took her shirt off reaveling a bikini top underneath of her shirt. ”Now if only you were wearing board shorts you would look more like you having fun!” She laughed as she said it. Kiki nodded as she said that the weekend sounded great. She watched her over talking to the boys wondering what they were talking about. It could have been a number of things, maybe some lie to get them to do something for her. Mae wasn’t like that so that wasn’t an option, but what in the world was she doing.
When Mae called and waved her over to where they guys were. Kiki jumped up and shook the sand from her body, and marched over the first thing she said was ”What ever she said about me isn’t true unless of course that I’m an awesome person because then that’s true.” she laughed then turned to Mae and looked at her ”What’s this about Mae, want some help with a boyfriend?” She teased, it was all in good fun.

Mae smiled as she could never let her friend win on purpose it was so hard for her to get her abilities to a minimum around her. Naturally Mae at her best was pretty good at fighting but she knew that Kiliki had her beat almost in hand to hand combat. “I could never let you win. Seriously it’s not my style to let someone win. How would that be learning?” She said laughing a little at the statement. The girl did have a point though; she never could see someone learning their techniques from just winning because someone felt bad. She would have to go through and teach her a lot more naturally. She thought about the dilemma that Kiki had the factor of her little sister being in the picture did make it hard for studying and practicing. “So why don’t you ask Miyabo or Kazuhiko to baby sit for one night. I mean it’s a favor and you could tell them I’d owe them big!” Mae proposed the idea of the fact having someone baby sit. The two guys she knew that would be perfect for it. Of course it was her idea so she would be the one owing everyone something. She smiled a little thinking about it all. “Then we can train and of course get you to studying with out the distractions.” Mae added looking at the book figuring it shouldn’t be to easy to memorize and teach. When Kiki whistled at her taking her shirt off she modeled a little. “Ok no I don’t think I look good in shorts I’ll keep the pants on thank you.” She said with a laugh. She hated showing off her legs naturally. As she spoke with the guys she was telling them various things to make them interested on things. “Oh yes I told them how cool you were. Lets play some ball!” Mae said with a laugh tossing the ball in the air and hitting across the net. “Oh no I don’t need a boy trust me.” She added giving Kiki the crazy look.

Kiki listened to mae while she sun bathed some more. ”Yes you could let me win, by not giving your all, and well I know that you wouldn’t give nothing less than your all, but really that’s all you would have to do” she said flipping her hair over her shoulder. ”That every once in a while the under dog wins, the other person doesn’t have to know, I mean really sometimes its nice to know you can win, and then well they like the feeling of winning so they work harder the next time to win again and again and again.” She pointed out, it was all about determination to win, and once you won once you would want to keep winning.
Kiki laughted at Miyabo or Kaz watching her little sister, it would have been awesomely funny to watch them watch Winnie, but well they were out of town. ”I would if they weren’t so wrapped up in exacting revenge on their father, they are out hopping towns for information, or well at least that’s where Miyabo is, and well Kaz is out on a mission. Lucky him.” she said with a sigh. Kiki didn’t care for some of the missions she went on they were pretty much low level things, which she didn’t mind but well she wanted to be out there in the world exploring it, not pulling weeds or anything like that. ”It would be amazing to train with out distractions, but we all know I find anything a dist...” she stopped mid-sentence to stare at a pretty boy, one of the ones who wasn’t a ninja just someone you seen around town.
Kiliki laughed when she started to model a little for her, and when she said she’d keep the pants kiki shook her head and said ”You look fine in shorts its not like you look funny or anything you have the body and the legs to pull it off.” she pointed out and well Mae should listen to kiki because well she was sort of a fashion expert when it came to girly clothes.
Kiki was on the ball like white on rice, and sending it back over the net. ”We all know how cool I am, yea lets” her competitive side would come out playing this game, it was fairly easy to play and well she liked it. ”You will when im done!” she called back
