She'd always been a little annoyed by how Shiva had been such a bragger when she was younger. Always trying to show everyone up but not her. She hadn't bragged when she graduated top of her class or when she surpassed her mother's skill in medicine. She rarely got angry the only times she could remember doing so other than he pregnancy was when Shiva was abused and lost her baby and the one times some bullies had picked a fight with Ash. She'd decked the one kid's father in the nose after he praised his son for beating up hers course afterwards she fixed his nose feeling bad about it. She'd always been humble and sweet always would be til the day she died probably. Her mother had passed with a smile on her face knowing she'd left amazing daughters like her behind in the world angels among the darkness of it all. "I'm sure you do perhaps we shall do so tonight." The last part she whispered into his ear with a smile before pulling back to ruffle Viola's hair a little. She'd simply smile and giggle offering Astaroth some of her food now. She'd chuckle softly and take it before moving to clean Viola up using a napkin. She didn't like to dwell on the mess INTEL was facing because of the Leaf. How their Hokage just took in the traitor Uchiha Sasuke with considering how everyone else felt about it. So troublesome and the last thing she needed was to be stressing out over something like that. She worried war would break out again and that was not a world she wanted Viola growing up in. Broken as it seemed it was the only one they had so she'd make the best of it and prepare their daughter for it the best she could.

Not have any other siblings to compete with Kuroko was left to seek his rivalries elsewhere, and that was in school, but he hadn’t needed to brag about his skills the teacher did it for him, so what could be better? He had asked himself. As a child pride had been his vice he had been too proud at times, which led him to believe his skills should mirror or exceed that pride, which in turn led him to seek more from himself than necessary. Astaroth was not an angry person, he could only remember the one instance during her pregnancy she had gotten mad, but he chalked that up to hormones, and dismissed it. He smirked at her. “Looking forward to it.” He said finishing off his fish and moving back to his seafood stuffed mushrooms. Kuroko liked to think he was shielding Astaroth from by holding it6 to himself, not that she wasn’t capable of doing so herself he just liked to keep any undue stress from her. The leaf had screwed up a lot with their antics of accepting the Uchiha back, but from what Roronora said not too many people agreed with their Hokage’s decision. He could see war in the distance and he didn’t like it. The Cloud and the Mist seemed to agree that The Leaf had made a grave error and were looking for compensation. He sighed Things would get worse before they got better if they ever did. He drank the rest of his tea resolutely letting his troubles go until they decided to plague him once more.

She'd never had any rivalries unlike Shiva that woman made rivals out of a lot of people she met. The first had been with their eldest sister Silvia. After she passed their cousin Ryoko came onto the scene and immediately the two butted heads always trying to out do the other even at a simple function like one of their family gatherings the last one had been worse with Ryoko insulting Shiva's husband. She would sigh lightly those two were like children sometimes so immature and thick headed with their rivalry not really sure what they were fighting over now they would over children if Ryoko's wife ever had any since their cousin loathed men she'd never let one touch her let alone have his semen injected into her she just didn't want kids but she knew Mila Rose did she always had that look of longing in her eyes. "Me too." She smiled back at him as she finished cleaning Viola up. To be honest the whole mess made her want to retire from INTEL so she could have more time to take care of Viola but she couldn't do that. INTEL needed people like her right now to keep it afloat so Shiva could salvage it and get it working properly again. It seemed impossible with that Hokage refusing to change his decision time after time he tried to plea Sasuke's case that he was reformed and seeking to repair all the damage he had done in the past trying to get Kumo and Kiri to give him a chance. At this point war seemed more and more prominent she could only pray that things got better before it came to that that something else would happen to draw attention away the Sasuke issue to buy Shiva the time she needed to fix things. "Well I am stuffed I don't think I could eat another bite. Perhaps a little dessert then we can go." She said with a smile before getting up and walking up to get some. Viola would huff not being able to follow after her unable to escape her prison that was her highchair. Soon enough Astaroth returned sliding Viola a piece of peach cobbler now and for herself and Kuroko their favorite kind of pie.

Kuroko couldn’t see his wife not getting along with anyone. She was just too bubbly and light for that. You just had to like. Astaroth had to be the biggest Extrovert he’d ever seen, while on the other hand he was an introvert. He liked his solitude, and peace and quiet, while Astaroth liked company and parties. Most people would say that a couple this mismatched wouldn’t work, but to hell with all them, and their naysayers. They worked just fine, though maybe not on the battlefield Astaroth was a fighter, but not as combat primed as he was which was a good thing he preferred she stayed away from the front lines, and let him take all the risks. Kuroko found Ryoko to be very tiresome she was childish and seemed to be in a perpetual state of anger. He just shook his head. Kuroko gave off a chuckle they were terrible when they got together. Kuroko knew that with all that was going on Astaroth wanted nothing more to do with Intel, but wouldn’t quit because her sister needed her. “You know I admire your commitment to your sister. I know being in Intel has gotten had on you, but you never complain, and you don’t quit.” He said finishing off his plate as well. “I could go for that as well.” He said digging into his slice of pie alongside Astaroth. “I guess we should be returning home soon someone here is due for a nap.” He said cutting his eyes over at his daughter. “After a well deserved bath that is.”

Even as a baby everyone had liked her even her mother who at times could be cold shouldered and standoffish. Evelyn had called her her light the reason she'd finally changed her ways. To amend thing with her daughters and to try to find happiness again. She was the reason her mother had sacrificed herself dying with a smile on her face the world would be a sad place without her had been her mother's dying words. It was true that her and Kuroko were opposites he liked to be alone when he wasn't with family whereas she always liked to find someone to talk to and do stuff with. Couples like that usually didn't fair well but they managed just fine and were happy more so after welcoming Viola into the world. They rarely fought over anything she always respected his decisions and knew he found comfort in her being a support role in missions knowing he worried about her often. She had half a mind to sit her sister and cousin down and force them to work things out they were grown adults now it was time to put on their big girl pants and stop acting like brats. "Quitters never prosper or get anywhere in life. I'll admit some days I ask myself why I don't quit but if I quit every time things got hard then what does that say about me. My sister needs me so no matter what i wont abandon her." She'd sigh lightly smiling sheepishly as Viola had already made a mess of her face and pie as she happily ate it. Then she'd take her own pie and made quick work of it. "Mm yes indeed I could use a bath too so I'll probably join Viola tonight." She replied moving to clean up Viola again before freeing her from her prison. Viola would squeal in delight before clinging to her side. "Alright these girls are ready to be escorted home." She said smiling at Kuroko before starting to walk off knowing he'd pay for the bill before joining them.

Kuroko had wanted to get married again he knew being a single father was no easy job and as much as he and Murasaki bonded the boy needed a woman’s touch a mother figure, and though he was an adult now having Astaroth around did seem to make things better for him. Kuroko and his first wife had been much alike both preferring their solitude, but being able to do so with one another around, but this was just as good Astaroth was his opposite, but they got along perfectly well. Kuroko listened to his wife as she went off about not quitting on her family. “I’m sure she appreciates your help I mean after all not every organization can get the greatest Medical ninja since Lady Tsunade.” Kuroko dug into his cherry pie it was incredible, but it soon went the way of all good things. He watched the two leave. “she’s a very lucky girl.” He said as he paid the bill and got up to leave. He followed the tow out into the cold mist air. “Mist has gotten thicker snow is bound to head in from the mountains.” He said taking off his Hunter nin hood and placed it around Astra and Viola. He was used to this cold and had a sweater on underneath besides he didn’t need his daughter catching something out here.

Astaroth had never been married before but she'd never been opposed to the idea. She'd always dreamed of some boy sweeping her off her feet treating her like his queen living in a fairy tale. Of course she knew life wasn't like that but she felt like her dream had come true. Kuroko had swept her off her feet and loved her in ways she could only have dreamed of. She knew she could never replace his first love no woman could but that didn't matter to him because he wanted her to always be herself the one he'd fallen in love with and not someone she pretended to be. "She does I know and can't disagree there thought I doubt I could ever be as good as she was." Evelyn had inspired her from a young age to become a medic ninja. In her days it hadn't been too popular but thanks to Lady Tsunade it now was. She dreamed of becoming like her mother and someday surpassing her. Her mother had proudly lived to see her do so and even now smiled down upon her pushing her still to further herself even more. She'd smile at the thought as she collected Viola and started to head out. Of course it didn't take long for Kuroko to catch up she had noted it was a lot chillier now she hadn't dressed properly for that but Kuroko seemed to have taken notice as he moved to cover his two favorite ladies up with his own jacket now. "Thanks my dear. Isn't daddy such a gentleman baby?" Viola would giggle and nod in response now. The little girl had always favored her but lately she'd note a change in her. She seemed to mimick her father more and more as the days went on and Astaroth could foresee one day she'd turn out to be like him. She loved her mother always would but it was clear to see she was beginning to idolize her father more.

Kuroko had felt like never getting married again, but he knew what Kikyo would have said. She would have yelled and screamed at him to get of his ass and find another mother for his son, and a woman for him to love, so he had, and he was greatful he had. He had found Astaroth the bubbly woman who was always happy, and on the move. She was his queen and he would die protecting her. Kuroko shook his head, and that humble nature of hers was one of her best features. "You'll get there Astaroth I have no doubt about that." He smiled at Viola and Astaroth. "Of course can't have my girls getting sick now can I? Then I wouldn't be able to love you the way I wanted." He said squeezing her butt in the mist as they headed home. Kuroko had noticed Viola doing a lot of the things he did, he just assumed it was a game she was playing, but maybe it was something more. only time could tell.

Evelyn had always said Astaroth would marry young just as she hadShe hadn't really believed her but her mother always had a knack for being right in the end. She'd been right when she said Shiva would experience much hardship for being so naive and foolish in her pursuit for love the way she did and she'd been right. She'd fallen hard for Kuroko and never looked back. She'd happily married the man even if he was a bit older than her it just meant he was more mature and wiser the perfect man for a wise and bubbly woman such as she and having Viola only added to that immense love. He was her king her husband and she'd always have his back through everything he did even in battle. "Yeah. I'll make her proud of me I'll carry on her name and take it to greater heights than before." Astaroth replied a big smile on her face now. Some said she'd already reached that place and that someday she'd be as great as Lady Tsunade. She didn't like to brag but she believed that without a doubt. "Yeah I catch your drift Mr. Dairu." She replied with a playful wink before squealing at his grabbing. Viola would simply giggle at the action not understanding it one bit. She noted Viola's changing personality and saw no reason to do anything about it. She favored her mother at times but she acted a lot more like Kuroko when she wasn't mimicking the few things she did from her mother.

Kuroko's mother had always said he would find a woman who offset his own personality Kikyo had been that woman she was brash and was prouder than even he was, but she had moved on to a better place. Now he had Astaroth and she offset him more than anyone possibly could except maybe Jade. A lot of people thought differently of him because he married young, but whatever Astaroth had wanted him to marry her and he could not deny her he loved her too much. She and Viola were his everything and he would not disappoint them. He kissed her cheek and nodded. "That's my girl the woman who never looks down, but stares into her new heights." He said looking at his daughter she would be a great woman some day and a greater ninja. "Good now keep warm you too and watch out the mist is getting thicker." Kuroko laughed at viola and her mother. He rarely acted like this, but he knew a little spontaneity always got Astra riled up. He said it was near zero visiblity now. He saw the gates of their home and rushed the two of them inside. When things got dark and misty like this is was best to be inside especially with snow on the way. He went and stoked the fire place and turned o his two ladies. "It's time to go to bed sweetheart." He said kissing Viola on the forehead and going to hang his cloak up.

She knew her mother Evelyn would've loved Kuroko. She'd been quite the strategist herself and could've seen the two sitting down to talk about most things that bored her normally. They would've loved playing chess together. They were pretty big opposites but it seemed to work because both were intellectuals at heart though there was the physical aspect that was pretty incredible too. She'd been asked off by her female coworkers why she married such an older man than her. He just completed her is what she'd always tell them in all the ways she sought for her man to do so. He stimulated her mind which she loved just as much as he was able to stimulate her body. "That's me in a nutshell." She replied smiling big now. Someday that would be Viola too with parents like her and Kuroko she'd be a genius and a great Hunter Nin like her father. "Don't worry we will." She replied sure enough she noticed the mist seemed to get thicker now. It was great he was trying to be more open and spontaneous like this she really enjoyed and she'd be sure to thank him properly later for it. Soon enough they arrived home as Kuroko rushed them inside. Viola would pout as bedtime was brought up causing Astaroth to chuckle softly. "Oh cheer up you know your tired. Let's take a bath and then daddy with read you your favorite bedtime story okay?" Viola would smile and now clinging to Astaroth as she carried her off to the bathroom and ten minutes the two were done as Astaroth took Viola to her room and put her in bed. Then she was out to see Kuroko. "She's ready for you now dear. I'll get ready for bed then you can tuck me in too." She said giving him a playful wink before kissing him softly then she was off teasing him with her ever so lovely hips as she stripped down to her underwear before laying ever so seductively on the bed to wait for him to arrive.

Kuroko knew that Astra was a bit excitable and some people found her annoying or a little too touchy, but she was his wife and he loved her. "And what a beautiful shelll it is." He said letting his eyes rove over her body with reckless abandon. Kuroko did have high aspirations for his daughter too high as some people told him, but he was a father it was his job to over estimate his daughter, but in Viola's case he knew all his goals for her were true. For years Kuroko had stuck to a strict regiment, but he realized that Astra was not made for a life like that she needed to be sponataneaous ans refused to live life by an inflexible schedule so he had changed for her. Kuroko crossed his arms. "Pout all you like little missy, but bedtime is bedtime besides you know want to be pretty like mommy so you need your beauty sleep." He said as he watched them leave and went to change into his pajamas after which he cracked open his book to catch up on some reading. By the time he had finished a chapter his wife and daughter were ready. He got up kissing her back. "Well I better get to it." He said walking into his daughter's bedroom and taking her into his lap he read her her bedtime story about a princess and true love. Soon enough she was off to dreamland. He placed her in her crib kissing her good night and went back to his bedroom. "Now I hear there's a lady in here who needs a good tucking." He said with a smile as he crawled into bed next to her.
