There was passion and death in his Byakugan-laden, blue eyes, and his swift and agile movements scaping across the grassy grounds approaching Zero showed the same determination and focus. Although his eyes were covered by the blazing glare in his glasses, his movements should be key enough to hint at his opponent how serious he was. Kamajin was basically called out by this man, and for all he knew, his own life was at stake. Zero might have been playing one of the sickest games that the Hyuuga has ever come across by accepting him and his help from the beginning, and now, testing him for survival or legitimacy; whichever came first, now that he had a lot more at stake to fight for. Yes, it was a sick little game: so why was Kamajin so intrigued by it? ..and why respond and give in to it? Because Kamajin Hyuuga could relate to Zero Cypher; he was more like him than either one of them really knew. He could understand these stakes, and this challenge: and easily reciprocated by giving him just what he wanted: whether it was enough to handle would be determined very soon. Just because Kamajin had him very unpredictable in his calculations didn’t mean that this was a pre-determined battle.
As said before, this man was a full-on strategist which added to his Silent Storm title and capabilities which had only increased his deadly persona and style. As he learned of just one of his probably immense jutsus, he already came to the conclusion that he must battle against his Sage Style, if not his Sharingan. At the very least, his Byakugan was more than capable of detecting the presence of any genjutsu, and with his Gentle Fist Style, he was proficient of breaking out of any using the chakra points at every point of his body. Byakugans and Sharingan faced each other with intense visuals as they met – Kamajin’s two against Zero’s one. He was perfectly ready for the genjutsu aspect at the least. When the man created a Shadow Clone, it was a done deal that it was his first predictable move. Kamajin clearly eyed the need for a perfectly stationery position to gather up Sage chakra. Of course, Kamajin could only speculate that was the need for it, especially as if scurried off into the neigbouring foliage, and not fighting. At Kamajin’s will, his own Shadow Clone emerged from hiding and went off for the Zero Clone. While forming hand signs on his way out of the cave, he created his own clone for his own backup purposes which the time called for then. Kamajin’s own Clone would silently wait until the Zero clone remained motionless and still before coming onto the clone from a frontal position holding a kunai to stab him merely 20 seconds before the clone stayed still.
As for the real Hyuuga still fiercely approaching Zero, he carefully studied the trident-shaped Summon in his hand; noting its chakra signature and potential threat through the chakra inspection. He wouldn’t have much time to do that as three lightning orbs were shot from the trident to come towards him. However, Kamajin was more than ready to start giving it his all – as if the Shadow Clone target was the mere beginning. He formed his quickened hand sign and place; doing his best to dodge the first 2 lightning orbs. However, he allowed the final orb which was closest to Zero than the first two to hit him! Yet, there were no shrieks of pain from him; merely just a poof of smoke to signal the effects of a Substitution Jutsu. However, there was no simple log or boulder in the real Kamajin’s place. No, the Hyuuga’s substitution of choice was one of his own weapons seals. Upon impact, from the smoke shot out multiple kunai blades, shurikens and senbon needles coming for the Cypher at close range. Kamajin would be shielded by the same foliage that would have sheltered Zero’s shadow clone; waiting to see just how he can appropriately respond while giving it a brutal effect as well.

Zero could see the look in his eyes as the Hyuuga advanced towards him. Determination and focus among other things he knew what he had to do. He was on a mission and Zero knew he would give his best and then some. Maybe it was wrong to play such a game toying with him like that but he had to test him somehow. See his skills in action if only briefly and only a brief taste of what he possessed. He would reserve his big cards unless necessary to use them so he planned to reserve sage mode once his clone had gathered enough nature chakra for it. A test of the ages for sure Byakugan versus the Sharigan. Even though he only had one it was enough to cast Tsukiyomi which the Hyuuga surely knew he could never break. Genjutsu other than that would be useless and without sage mode only Kamui was his means of avoiding having his chakra points hit and closed off.
A clone was formed and off into the trees hearing the rustling nearby knew Kamajin had sent his own after his. Clever forming a clone before the fight even started when he wasn't looking. Such the strategist he was but Zero too could be clever. The clone would kneel down on a branch and when he felt safe he would flash a handsign as Kamajin's clone closed in for the kill. Seconds later there was an explosion in the trees and Zero could only hope it had killed the Hyuuga's clone as well as he watched the real one advance towards him still clearly dodging first two lightning balls only to be hit by the last one. In a poof he found some kind of seal had replaced him. Then it exploded as he formed the snake seal his body quickly beginning to turn dark as he used earth spear to shield himself making his skin as tough as diamonds. A kunai would manage to cut his cheek leaving a shallow cut. Once over he would reduce earth spear to cover his chest and neck now. He then flashed the handsigns for his Multiple Shadow Clone Technique forming about five clones now. Each would run off in a different direction into the trees and once they had he would flash a handsign casuing them to explode hoping one would force Kamajin out to face him.

The Kamajin that was in the trees targeting the Zero clone managed to land a kunai in him, but the Zero clone already prepped for an explosion in close range; both clones painfully met their demises, and evened the score. Meanwhile, another Kamajin watched in the trees as his weapons seal attack was deflected by his earth armor. As Kamajin tried to come up with a counter strategy, he didn’t have enough time to analyze what he came up with as Zero wasted no time in creating more clones to send off into the forest to search for his opponent. ”Fuck..” he scolded under his breath as he had no choice now but to strike when the iron was hot …or the forest as the grounds exploded from all directions thanks to the clones. Smoke covered the scene, and Kamajin thought that he would use that to his advantage at the last minute. It would take about six seconds as he tried throwing more kunai blades from different directions; chances are that he wouldn’t be so quick as to perform the Earth shield again; after which, Kamajin would then remain in the clearing smoke to perform another Jutsu, time was of the essence, and he had to act fast and effectively.
”Summoning Jutsu!” Another large cloud of smile emerged from the jutsu activation. However, not too long did it appear that it was soon starting to fade away at the beating of a large falcon’s wings as it soared up into the sky with Kamajin upon its back looking down at the Cypher. He had to time his offense perfectly; what was the best attack? …. ”Tendou.. Feather Dance..” ”You got it!” the creature bellowed as it braced its body somewhat, followed by a soft, eerie glow. After its cry “Wind Style: Feather Dance Jutsu!”, it released its body and wings as a large barrage of glowing, blue feathers that came streaming down to Zero which would act as many slicing wind blades, slicing upon impact.

Nothing much was gained from the original shadow clones formed that exploded. No matter as long as it had served it's purpose. Then more clones were sent out and one by one exploded when the command was given. Smoke filled the forest quickly as flames began to spread. Zero's eyes would narrow it seemed Kamajin hadn't appeared yet quite the good hider he was. Then came the kunai and by using Kamui one of the kunai phased through him the rest missing entirely. Then there came Kamajin's voice from within the smoke and a bigger poof of white smoke could be seen before it was sent outwards by a gust of winds as Kamajin appeared riding atop a giant falcon it seemed. Zero would simply smirk as they rose into the air. Shortly after this his falcon began to glow and an attack of some kind was called out. Then by drawing his trident points together using Lightning Dragon Tornado technique Zero would then raise his trident into the air and draw lightning down upon his body a dark cloud forming above Kamajin and his summon breifly as a lightning bolt then show down past them.
The current would be contained within and around Zero's form. He would then begin to spin in place forming a whirling vortex of wind and electricity the feathers crashing into it doing little damage. The vortex would take on the form of a dragon's head and would cover the area in front of Zero. It would then strike out against Kamajin and his falcon attempting to trap them in the vortex. Even if the attack didn't directly connect with them the lightning would jump from the vortex in a further attempt to hit them. Then by slamming his hand onto the ground using his own summon jutsu a large giant owl would appear. Jumping on it's back Zero would then take flight to join Kamajin in the air now turning this into an aerial battle now. Zero wasn't done though and slamming his hand on his chest for his summoning technique would summon three smaller owls which would hover around him awaiting further orders now.

The attack was set and coming straight for Zero, although Kamajin already knew how unlikely it would be that the attack hit its mark. He didn’t know what to expect ..but the unexpected. Upon the rising of his trident weapon, Kamajin could feel on the back of his neck of the sudden drop in air current, and the odd sensation of something forming or happening around him. As he looked up, his suspicions were confirmed at the sight of the black clouds; soon forming a lightning striked that jetted down for Zero; of course moving quicker than Kamajin’s launched aerial attack. Allowing it to hit him, while moving in a spinning motion somehow set off a unique barrier that protected the man completely from Tendou’s feather dance. ”Crap..” his companion retorted in a disappointed tone. Of course, its Summoner couldn’t have said it better himself, but he wasn’t the wordy one anyway – the way Kamajin felt showed in his frown. However, he looked at how the vortex formed some kind of dragon’s head which combined from lightning and wind, jettered straight for him. Kamajin went wide-eyed at the speed of the attack, while Tendou acted on instinct: trying to shield itself from the attack by brushing its wings mid-air to form an windy barrier all its own. Expectedly, the force of two elements against one would triumph as Tendou was unable to hold back the attack any longer.
The ninja falcon still took some of the damage from the attack, upon that realization, Kamajin shouted, ”Tendou – disappear!” The bird acted at once, and Kamajin went soaring for the ground. He chose to have his Summon not protect him by such means, and suffer that much hurt. As he soared to the ground, he cursed the move Zero used; he did not expect a collaboration jutsu like that, and even watched in mid-fall as he summoned his own bird battalion now. He cursed under his breath even more without anyone being able to hear him out, and soon enough, fell to the ground – trying to roll and move his body so he wouldn’t take that much brunt from the impact with land. He groaned and held his shoulder, immediately trying to heal himself as his familiar green, soothing chakra emiited with a glow from one of his hands aimed at his shoulder. It couldn’t be over, he just had to hope Zero gave him enough time to get up again if he chose to land on the ground again.

Zero showed no joy or excitement that his attacks had completely thrown the man off his guard. His attack effortlessly blocked his own counterattack then launched in response. It was clever of his ninja falcon to use a gust of wind to reduce the damage even if he knew it wouldn't stop the attack entirely. Eventually it overpowered the two and Kamajin seemed to fall through the air now as his summon disappeared luckily they weren't that high up to begin with. Seeing him soon land on the ground Zero quickly began his descent his smaller owls following suit. Then once close enough to the ground his bigger owl summon disappeared in a poof of smoke his smaller owls remaining behind. The three would scatter taking up positions in the trees surrounding the two that remained standing and not blown to bits by the earlier expressions. "Perhaps a little hand to hand combat now." Zero would suggest now not really asking. In a poof of white smoke his trident disappeared from sight as Zero then closed his eyes for a few seconds transforming into perfect snake sage mode again having conserved enough from earlier usage to use it a little longer.
"My owls shall not interfere unless I am overpowered suddenly." Hand to hand combat against a Hyuuga probably wasn't wise if he wouldn't use Kamui but luckily snake sage mode would allow him to avoid having his chakra cut off with those palm techniques they used. Though it wasn't permanent he wanted to keep the chances even for both as he limited himself in use of certain abilities to keep the test fair. Then he would charge forward and using Body Flicker technique would disappear. He would reappear behind Kamajin a palm poised to strike him in the middle of his back and if connected his hand would glow dark green as he sent snake chakra into him using his Snake Sage Art Sever Chakra technique which would form a wall of snake chakra. This wall would then block Kamajin's ability to sense and manipulate chakra. Should he miss if Kamajin's counterattack be a potentially fatal one he would use Kamui to avoid it and if not he would simply dodge it the best he could.

As he looked up with his shoulder slightly throbbing, he looked up at the scene of the owl battalion with their Summoner on the ground now facing him, and expecting hand-to-hand combat. He hadn’t really tapped into his chakra prowess just yet, but things were still not looking the way he had planned. Zero was in more of a position of succession than the Hyuuga was in terms of current position, and abilities. Batting an Uchiha along was hell, but the man in front of him not only possessed an Uchiha variation, but just that much more that he was unaware of. For a man like Kamajin, knowledge was indeed power, and without that at his disposal, he was already at a disadvantage. Needless to say, the owl Summons were a slight surprise. Kamajin took in the scene carefully, while at the same time, his hand supporting his shoulder was glowing a slight green chakra in order to bring some relief to his shoulder. However, he was also formulating what he can do. Hearing Zero talk about using his owls only when dire was insulting to Kamajin; he did not care for pity, but unfortunately, he was in no position to be defiant. His honour was not shot as yet, especially if he found some way to make Zero use his owls. He needed to be a threat to Zero instead of coming off like a playtoy. As mere seconds passed, he came up with many short-term tactics, but soon it wouldn’t be enough time to plot more in the moment as the Cypher instantly jetted off, and disappeared on the spot. Kamajin was all too familiar with the Jutsu employed, and immediately twisted his body around to meet the eyes of the Cypher at a closer stance; using his hand to block off his palm strike with his specialized taijutsu. He knew that his chakra technique might not be as effective on his target, but it would at least stop his snake chakra from striking him. Kamajin knew of the Sage arts well through study and research, although not being able to perform it himself.
At this point, the two were basically engaging in the heat of the combat with the standard kicks and strikes with clean dodging. Kamajin back flipped and tried to keep his opponent on his toes, hopefully catching him in a weak spot as the two bouted. Strike after strike with each side’s specialized chakra was each becoming nullified with no clean hits. ”Damn….. I need a turnaround point fast….” the Hyuuga thought to himself. Dodging the man’s snake chakra-powered hits was a brilliant feat at that point, but it was far from enough. If anything Zero had to admit Kamajin was persistent. He'd clearly been overpowered up until now and yet he fought on. Still so calculating looking for a weakness to exploit a way to bring him down. He'd simply smirk he'd barely shown him his skills yet but he'd shown enough to entice him. He wanted to see how he held up in the taijutsu department with his Hyuuga clan techniques. If anything he'd never really use his owl summons he didn't really need to so he would simply use them as scouts to warn him of approaching danger once his snake sage mode wore off taking away his chakra sensory abilities. That was why he suggest hand to hand to conserve it longer in hopes he would disarm him quicker using his sever technique. Then he launched his strike using body flicker only to have the Hyuuga see it coming and dodge it jumping away from him. Of course he had forgotten about his eyes and their 360 range of vision that or he'd just planned on his surprise attack beforehand and got lucky.
Then blows began to fly as Kamajin came at him. It was purely taijutsu now kicks blocking kicks punches blocking punches. At this rate with his eyes he would never defeat him using such tactics snake sage more would wear off by then and Kamajin would overpower him eventually if he didn't use Kamui. It was time to get serious and so he would charge at Kamajin coming at him with his ten hit combo as his perfect snake sage mode wore off. He would come at him with a few punches before striking at him with a Lightning Release infused uppercut to knock him into the air. Then jumping above Kamajin with amazing speed Zero would be punching away at him until finally striking him down into the ground with a Lightning Release infused blow to the stomach. Should he miss well he would be left wide open then.

His beads of sweat would literally slide off his face as he persevered to fight one-on-one with the Cypher man before him; making sure from the very beginning to not let one single hit made contact with his body. In his mind, he could not believe that it was all happening though – there he was with his battle attire filthy with dirt and scratches, glasses gone with his blue Byakugan eyes fully operational and blazing as they viewed the very internal chakra structure of the Uchiha-related stranger battling him. This man was no joke, and already noted by Kamajin, he had an advantage by knowing more of Kamajin somewhat than he did about the man himself. He only knew what the man informed him of from their very beginning of meeting. Battling with lack of knowledge was a fool’s game: of course, some fools have succeeded with this notion, but it was not one Kamajin employed. However, it couldn’t be helped now. Zero was a man of curious abilities, along with mysterious ones. The owls were definitely still unknown in terms of power, his Summon was recovering somewhat for now, and he was subject to dodging the effects of the Snake Sage chakra. His Taijutsu style was able to force chakra from his palms to disallow any contact from Zero, so for now he had that going for him. But time was running out…..
Kamajin’s teeth were bared with eyes boldly forced for a reason. He was never like this in a fight looking as if he was straining, forcing himself to fight on. He was.. but in a different way. It would be only a matter of seconds before Zero would see Kamajin’s last ditch effort at winning this battle, because with his Sharingan abilities, he was not sure how he could win this any other way. It was time for Kamajin to get serious, and he wasn’t ready to do it until he felt Zero was doing the same. Someone’s element of surprise had to come through for them NOW! Through Kamajin’s vision, he could finally see the Snake Sage chakra starting to dissipate, so he was weary at the next set of events. Suddenly, Zero motioned a bit quicker with his taijutsu which signaled a more refined attack. Doing the same, Kamajin blocked and intercept the attacker’s movements, but at the last second, a sudden sensation of exhaustion hit, and his pace slowed down in blocking – that was the precise moment Zero managed to release a Lightning-chakra powered uppercut that landed right into Kamajin. A gasp of pain escaped him as he was sent flying into the air, but that wasn’t done there – not for Kamajin and apparently not for Zero! Kamajin gripped his fists and bared his teeth continuously to maintain his form. Even as Zero was above him now aiming more chakra-infused blows into him, Kamajin just cried in pain to keep his focus. It was his timing he needed to preserve – it had to be perfect because this fight was clearly one of his most challenging. He needed to wait.. .closer to the ground he sailed with Zero landing his strikes.. blow after blow, and cry after cry… he was inches… seconds into the ground now as Kamajin finally had his chance – with one of his Byakugan-charged eyes closed looking bruised and pained, he grinned at Zero. The Hyuuga in pain and torture from the attack disappeared in a large cloud of smoke! The smoke appeared from not one, but two sources at the same time to double the cloud dosage. The first was from the first Kamajin clearly hit by Zero, while the other came from the ground right underneath the imminent crash landing of Zero. From the cloud of smoke, a freshly faced, energetic Kamajin Hyuuga came with the same passionate KG-powered eyes staring at Zero as he unleashed his 128-palm combo attack with fierce determination, and force!
Kamajin made a serious contingency plan in his time of disappearance from Zero’s vision – including the creation of a Shadow Clone that he allowed his Summon Tendou to energize with his special wind chakra to help him last out for as long as he could while he himself Transformed into an old kunai blade that looked as if it had been used earlier in the battle; waiting for the right moment to appear in front of Zero unexpectedly. He needed his Shadow Clone to last out for as long as possible, especially then as the two came towards the ground. He needed to wait for Zero get out his last string of attacks, and waiting for him to be close to the ground so his response time would be that much shorter to defend against his 128-palm attack. Now it all unfolded, and through Kamajin’s pounding heart masked by his fighting spirit and determination, what would transpire?
