Alessia was already thinking of how to go about defeating her opponent; which, led to some ideas about what she could do. It was her way of improving herself in every action she did. She wanted to be the best ninja she could be. Ali knew that she couldn’t be a sore looser when she was given an opportunity to learn and grow. Katherine spoke about training her in becoming better and she was happy that she had a student who was willing to learn. She spoke about the Intel when she would be done training her. It was odd that she had been offered for the position, but she was to young to even join at this point. “You’re welcome. Thank you! I try to keep being determined by things, I mean if I can keep up on my training I hope to achieve a lot more. I would love to be in the INTEL… I was asked to join. Though, I am still sure my age is going to be the downfall.” Alessia said shrugging it off like it was nothing. She would allow herself to become better before she could get further. She listened to Katherine’s explanation of her sword and why it was formed that way. It was interesting, and well it made her stand out from the others. “That’s way cool! I wish I had something close to that. Well ok I do have several weapons I tend to rely on.” Ali said with a smile. It was interesting to see a style that was passed into a clan like Katherine’s family.

From the moment they had met Katherine had already been sizing her up assessing her for a potential fight. Alessia was smaller than her so she had speed and agility to benefit. Where Katherine might have lacked that physically flash body made up for that kicking her nervous system into overdrive allowing her to move faster than she normally did. She was always assessing others she met even now after the fight with the younger blonde had finished. She was a great student and with time she'd have the skills to properly assess her opponents as Katherine did. "I'm sure they'd be willing to make an exception. To get in they will test you so if you can pass that then you've got what it takes. Just think it over and in the meantime we'll keep training to prepare you for it." Katherine replied with a smile patting one of Alessia's shoulders gently now. She believed in her that she had what it took to join INTEL should she decide to join in the end. She was sure Kuro might make an exception because she was only a year short of the age requirement. She would make sure she prepared Alessia for that day. "It has great sentimental value to me. I own other swords as well but this one is irreplaceable." She was an avid sword collector and had quite the collection back at her apartment in Kumogakure. It was something she could never part with and when she moved in to live with Esmerelda wherever they chose to live together at she would take it there with her. "So what do you think of my clan. The main technique Flash Body is the main technique all members learn first growing up. I'm the only one to use it to evolve the lightning running beast and lightning shadow clone technique before." She would ask and say looking to Alessia now. She had to wonder how she'd fair against the main branch clan head Dashe. She'd heard he was quite skilled certainly a fight for the clan's history to remember which would be all the sweeter if she could defeat him and claim his title afterwards.

Katherine had said the same thing Kuro to Alessia, only what she had said made more sense. The tests she figured couldn’t have been a problem but she was in the boat of wanting to learn more before she would get into that position. Ali hoped the training with her now mentor would pay off, even if her patience would get the best of her. She was just happy she was able to keep her cool during the whole time. “You really think so? Do you know what the tests they would have me do? Kuro said it was a fight… and he said I was pretty good facing him…” She said with a laugh remembering that experience of the blood her used. She couldn’t face the fact how much he used a blood for his techniques. She managed to survive like always with thinking outside of the box of course. Katherine spoke about her sword having a great amount of emotional value to her and owning other swords. It sounded like her own sword only Alessia’s wasn’t a pass down from a clan type. It was her good luck sword; it was her father’s when he was in active missions. She cherished it with her life, and couldn’t use any other sword it never felt right. “So your sword has a history behind it. When you use your other swords does it feel weird?” She asked her curious.
Katherine spoke again about her techniques and her clan. It was the most amazing thing Alessia had heard, not only were they powerful but most importantly they had been learned when growing up. She thought about it; for her it was the sense of Katherine’s clan had bestowed these abilities as they were children. Alessia had learned basics when she was growing up to put herself ahead from the game. “The lightening Beast running technique, you perfected that into a bigger beast. That’s just so crazy!” She exclaimed in happiness. It meant there was hope for making new techniques or perfecting others.

A rather simple test that most standard jounins could perform. A fight to test one's skills effectively in a battle. If one could impress them enough by putting up a good fight then most likely they'd get recruited. Alessia she would admit needed a little work before she could make the cut to get in but she had potential and with a little time she would make it into the ranks of INTEL. "A simple test of your skills used effectively in a fight. You've already impressed me and it seems Kuro-san as well so you have what it takes though you could still use a little refining as I mentioned before." She would admit his blood techniques disturbed her a little. Having to cut himself constantly to use his kekkai genkai's abilities. The only scars she wanted to have were those given to her by her enemies so they would serve a reminder of how she needed to better herself. Still he had given her a run for her money and had been quite the challenge. She loved collecting swords it was true but she could only use Byakurai Raiken in battle only it could effectively serve her techniques and abilities and had become like an extension of her soul. She cherished it above any other possession she owned aside from a gift Esmerelda might have given her. Most clan members only learned the basic techniques and mastered those but she had decided to take a few techniques outside the clan even further. "Helps having a kekkai genkai like mine." Able to store abnormal amounts of raiton chakra in their bodies by absorbing lightning itself helped a lot with that. "Enough about me though tell me more about you Alessia-chan. I assume you don't come from a clan like me so what was your upbringing like?" Of course she was welcome still to ask more about Katherine's upbringing if she wished she wouldn't avoid questions about that. She was just glad her being gay didn't seem to bother her like it did with some women and men.

Alessia knew what she had to do, and it was a given moment that she could perfect her fighting skills to impress even her parents at fighting. Her mother had doubt in her abilities. Ali wasn’t out to impress her though it was more so out doing her siblings who were already making their ranks and showing that they were a bit better at things than she was. It meant that she had the opportunity she could go for, at the same time she felt she could wait a year for the test. She of course hadn’t decided on if she wanted to join. Katherine explained it to her about the exam what she had to do, and what she felt as well as Kuro. “Of course I agree with you on the refining. I am going to talk to Kuro and see if I can’t just wait one year for it. Then at least I will have the idea of my abilities advancing further!” She said happily. The blond was back in the groove of wanting to improve herself. She knew a year she would be further along than she was now. The fact she over thought her moves was probably a down fall in her action and ability. When it came to her training session with Kuro, she actually had a mindset of having a bit more fun with her weapons than what she did with Katherine. Though, she wasn’t sure why the difference, she respected both of them highly and both were great fighters with crazy techniques. Alessia’s abilities were mild in comparison to theirs, but she learned things quickly and how to move her chakra through her swords and Kama’s like it was nothing. With those abilities she felt like she was on her way to succeeding faster in her life. It was when Katherine asked her about herself and her upbringing it was a little complicated to explain how she was brought up. “Well I am not from a clan… at least I don’t think I am. I am the oldest of three kids, my siblings are already showing that they are better at being a ninja than I. My father has been the one whose taught me all I know. He kind of pushed me when I was three to become a ninja.” She said with a laugh. It was the truth though, Alessia had been training as a ninja all her life. A head start helped her greatly. “Though, I am pretty sure he’s disappointed in me.” She said shrugging it off like it was nothing. Rarely did she speak about her mother.

Her father had always been impressed with how quickly she took to training and how her skills improved quicker than his own had at that age. He'd been the one who mentioned how she would make a great head of the Storm clan someday. The man loathed her cousin seeing him as nothing more that a lazy slacker who enjoyed playing with women like they were objects. He hardly took his duties serious enough. It was why she felt with the way her skills were now she would be more than qualified for the job. Question was did she have time for that and being a part of INTEL. Only time would tell in the end as she looked to Alessia hearing her speak again now. "Sounds like a plan wise thinking on your part. One must always assess themselves before making such a major decision. There is no backing out once you've made it." That was what her father had said before offering her a position in Anbu. She'd taken a few days to think it over before finally deciding she wanted it. The hours were longer but the pay was good and she felt she was really doing good for her village and clan. Joining INTEL would bolster her clan's reputation as well as her own taking them to greater heights than before.
Her life was going well considering everything that had happened lately and taking on a student she felt she had someone she could pass her legacy on should she be killed one day in the future. Hearing her speak again she smiled at Alessia folding her arms against her stomach now. "I almost feel like we're twins. I have three older sisters as well. My father was the center of my life teaching me everything I know always pushing me to achieve the impossible. I owe everything to him." Katherine replied closing her eyes now smiling still. The day he passed would be a truly sad day in her life. He'd been her inspiration growing up and he would be until the day he died. "I'm sure both are proud of you Alessia. They love you no matter what you do." Least that's what Katherine would believe anyways. Her clan was proud of her and that gave her the strength to do anything no matter how impossible it seemed.

Alessia smiled hoping the decision she would make would be a good one. She knew that she had made a decision to stick with her mentor and well with her village. She thought about all the times she was in the academy, and well the messing around she did. She was glad to be standing with a new appreciation to her fighting and wanted to grow her abilities further. Of course that was to say if she could calm herself. That’s what her father always taught her to calm her mind, even if her wisdom was beyond her years she still acted like a twenty year old girl. “Thank you! I have been told I am a bit wise, figuring that I want to give the INTEL all at the time. I do agree though with on not turning back.” She agreed with her. She knew once her decision was made final she couldn’t turn back and that was how she wanted it. Intel was a decision she could live with, especially tracking down rogue ninjas. She wanted to have a bit different job than trying to find missions she could and do suited to her talents. Alessia was happy to have Katherine as her mentor, it seemed her life would be great and amazing. She wanted to the skills she could use to make herself a better ninja. Katherine spoke about her family, have siblings and it would seem the two were like twins. Basically the same life style, excluding the fact Ali wasn’t in a clan or anything as cool as that. “If I didn’t know better I’d say we were. My father would teach me when my mother was taking care of my brother and sister. My brother is a chuunin, talented learned not to be like me. My sister just took her Genin exam, and successfully passed. So it’s a house hold of ninjas.” She said with a laugh. She loved her siblings and didn’t want anything to happen to them. She helped on their lessons when she could. “Yes well… the things that has happened from the last few years. We’re pretty distant now. At this point because of what happened during my days at the academy and chuunin exams, I messed up pretty big.” She said shrugging it off.

Katherine had never really had a mentor growing up unless you considered her father one. She'd always gotten by the skin of her pants in a fight during her Genin days. She'd paid little attention to her sensei or teammates whenever they talked to her unless it was about the mission at hand. Training had always been done alone unless it was with her father who she paid attention to always unlike most. "That is good then take all the time you need to think it over." She'd been eager to join INTEL mostly because she wanted to protect her fiancee. Katherine would never forgive herself if she allowed something to happen to her again after having reunited with her recently. Joining INTEL she felt like she was really doing some good in the world now. Hunting down one criminal at a time making the world a better place in the process safer for the civilians in the shinobi villages. Gathering intel wasn't really her forte but she'd do whatever her mission requested of her she wouldn't accept a failure for a mission no that meant more training to better herself so she would not fail the next time. "All of my sisters are Jounins now me being the youngest. Relations between us are a little estranged since I was made leader of the Kumogakure branch of our clan." They hadn't been too happy when their father had decided Katherine was best suited for the position. She let her sisters run things whenever she was away on duty but she made sure to keep them in line by intimidating them last thing they wanted to do was fight her get shown up knowing they would lose if they did. "I'm sorry to hear that I hope you can patch things up with her soon." She hoped one day her sisters would come around and really like and respect her for a change.

Alessia was always trying to figure a way to pass on what she had learned from her experiences. There were a ton that she could go over again. The idea of joining Intel was huge in her mind, it was a new step into a new life. She wanted to have some fun over the next year with training and everything. “Of course I will it’s a huge decision.” Ali spoke knowing that with of course any decision it took time and it was giving up old habits sometimes. She knew that it was just like in her fight she would over analyze the situation and over think everything. It was a bad habit she had just so she could plot out every possible escape. Sometimes it was easy to over plan others it wasn’t the best idea but that was Alessia for you. Good or bad she would over plan and over think things. Katherine spoke about her sisters being estranged due to her becoming the next family head. She understood most families went through that. Ali nodded as she spoke about it. “I am sure they will come around eventually. I mean my sibling and I aren’t close but it seems that no matter if we are fighting there’s a bond there you just can’t get rid of.” She said shrugging it off. Of course she only had the knowledge of her own siblings who were younger and thought they could know the world and not take in experiences from her. Katherine spoke again this time about her mother. “It’s ok. I’ve come to accept that my mother and I are probably never going to be close. I am sure that my father will come around. I don’t tend to visit either one very often just because it’s easier that I keep my distance.” She said not sure if that would be always a good thing.

Katherine would smile and simply nod at Alessia. She could only hope she had made a good enough impression of the girl so she'd consider joining INTEL. She had the potential for greatness if she put her mind to it. She'd make a great intel gatherer for the group if not a good hunter nin too. She really hoped Alessia would consider it because of their new found friendship. She'd hate to see her turn from it and head down a different path. She wanted to see her new friend shine bright in this world and INTEL would do that taking her to greater heights than she could have ever imagined before. "Of course I know what you mean Alessia-san." She could never truly hate her sisters and knew they didn't fully hate her either. Jealous maybe but they were happy somewhat for her and always supported her decisions above anyone else's opinions. Things were getting better between them now they actually cared to spend more time with her without having to use the excuse to train or challenge her to a fight for her title. She'd nod at the thought someday that jealousy would fade entirely and they'd support her fully for sure. Until then she'd work her best to earn more praise and acceptance form her older sisters. "You never know unless you make an effort yourself to win them back. Don't run away face them and try to amend things the best you can." Katherine would reply placing a hand on one of Alessia's shoulders now. Then she would rub it gently before retracting her not wanting to linger too long and make things awkward between them her being gay and Alessia now. "I think I shall retire for the day Alessia-san. Esmerelda should be back soon so I must prepare for her. I look forward to seeing you again and as the young generation says nowadays hang out and go shopping. Feel free to drop in and see me anytime you want." Or something like that she couldn't remember exactly. She'd smile patting Alessia's shoulder again before she walked off heading towards her cabin now. Today had been a good day she had made a new friend and looked forward to hanging out with her again in the future a smile on her face as she disappeared out of sight now.
