[/i] - Reizan is incredibly skilled as both a hand-to-hand and bo-staff martial artist. He has advanced extreme speed and agility allowing him to employ a vast number of fast and high speed attacks through agility and reflexes in combat, his attacks can create residual effects as well and he can land several attacks on a weak opponent before they notice what has happened. His palm skills were learned from his father who has mastered his soft palm skills to such a degree he can lift water from a pool. He has sufficient strength to wield a bo-staff and has no fear against opponent with weapons even while weaponless. Chakra Control & Combat - Reizan through learning of the ways of his own village from his father has effectively learned how to utilize chakra in order to enhance his combative skill and strength to greater levels. He does not use chakra for ninjutsu other than the ninjutsu of the basic skills of a ninja, he does however use it for close combat in order to enhance his speed, the force of his strikes, and the agility he manipulates through combat. Though seemingly basic for ninja, he has enhanced it to such a level that he is ALMOST on par with a Hyuuga (though he can't release chakra from every pore of his body, nor can he close or open tenketsu at his leisure). Martial Genius - He is an incredibly intellectual and perceptive individual thanks to learning from his father. His fighting styles are one part physical, one part spiritual and one part mental. At any rate he is smart enough to make-up strategies on the spot, understand the different ebbs and flow of situations.[/ul] WEAKNESSES: [/i] - He isn't effective in long-range combat because he obviously focuses on taijutsu or close range combat. Due to this he isn't made for close or mid-range combat (without his bo-staff) and thus doesn't focus on such areas preferring to understand the many ways to enhance his close range to quickly capture long-range opponents. Genjutsu Combat - Due to his chakra control he is effective at disabling many genjutsu, until they become higher levels. Of which it takes more understanding and studying than what he usually does. Thus this manner of skill is both not his forte and is his weakness as a master of genjutsu could use what they understand about genjutsu to lock him in layers of genjutsu, use more powerful genjutsu to make him unable to escape with grievous wounds to himself (such as enough pain to unlock ones self from genjutsu). Ninjutsu Combat - He doesn't use ninjutsu except for the most basic ninjutsu skills. He focuses on taijutsu and utilizing his incredible control over chakra to enhance his physical combat skills. Light Step Skill - Migarui Hobu TYPE: Taijutsu NATURE: - RANK: E CHAKRA COST: Low RANGE: Short DESCRIPTION: An application of the basic principles of ninja arts, this skill is made for light-movements quickness and agility by way of chakra. The users that take this skill have the ability to use a more agile sense, performing superhuman acrobatics and light-stepping movements that fuse with the water and tree walking techniques allowing for such things as landing on a leaf without distributing weight upon it (making leaves a stepping stone instead for example). Basically, this skill is a skill that allows for greater freedom of movement by more precise application of chakra throughout the body. SIDE EFFECTS: None, as long as the user has enough chakra. Anyone can learn this skill, but mastering it is difficult as constant concentration is key and a higher sense of chakra control.
Palm Wave - Hirate Nami TYPE: Taijutsu NATURE: - RANK: B CHAKRA COST: Med RANGE: Short DESCRIPTION: The user attacks with a palm filled with inner energy (chakra). The user attacks the opponents internal organs with this maneuver and can even attack through walls if need be. This skill uses no real physical force and is only chakra force thus even the lightest touch can be deadly. The skill can also bypass armors and thin layers of clothing with ease (unless they are made to block chakra). SIDE EFFECTS: Users need time to build the energy into their palm, the force is also only palm shaped so if the user misses the body their attack shall be ineffective. The user will usually be using this technique in order to leap on objects or over great distances, it can also be used as a "double jump" only being able to use it twice.
Lunging Palm - Tsukkakaru Hirate TYPE: Taijutsu NATURE: - RANK: C CHAKRA COST: Low RANGE: Short DESCRIPTION: This is a palm strike executed while performing a quick lunge. The user dives at the opponent with palm and foot out-stretched. The lunge comes in a quick spurt of the legs, allowing the user to both close the distance between he and his opponent while attacking. With the body being used with the lunge, this technique normally makes the opponent stumble backward if hit by the user’s force. SIDE EFFECTS: A quick side-step can avoid the strike. The user will step forward in order to attack with the strike their palms outward.
Phantom Massacre - Genei Zansatsu TYPE: Taijutsu NATURE: - RANK: B CHAKRA COST: Med RANGE: Short DESCRIPTION: The user stomps down with their foot, thrusting an arm forward to perform a palm strike toward the opponent, this is the usual indication of the technique. If this connects with the opponent, the user performs a succession of quick and slow movements honed with the utilization of fluidity. With this done, the user seems to phase through the opponent, executing a series of physical strikes as they pass by. SIDE EFFECTS: The opponent can avoid the attack by the initial strike as the stomp is a tell, however, if they do not, they are instead pulled into the strike and attacked with an incredible amount of blows in an instant. The user will move at such high speeds that they will maneuver (through) the opponent but really they are side-stepping them.
Shocking Strike - Shokkingu Atemi TYPE: Taijutsu NATURE: - RANK: B CHAKRA COST: Medium RANGE: Short DESCRIPTION: The user is able to produce a strike that can slightly daze an opponent. That is a ‘Shocking Strike’, where the fighter generates power with the whole body and focuses it into one pulse which is released in a sudden burst. With this done, the opponent becomes disorientated, ultimately losing their balance for a chance of an opening. Blocking the technique won't stop the effects of the move as it attacks the nerves of the opponent to disallow movement for a moment. SIDE EFFECTS: The technique has a tell, and thus should be dodged, it however can't go through armor thus either an armored opponent or an opponent that can resist its shocking effects. The user will leave their fingertip forward in order to "tap" against the opponent though if missed it can be pulled backwards. It must be charged for at least a post.
Phantom Dance - Genei Odori TYPE: Taijutsu NATURE: - RANK: C CHAKRA COST: Low RANGE: Short DESCRIPTION: A universal technique seen in many taijutsu styles from various countries, but, in the hands of the user is dubbed "Phantom Dance". A simple method, at best described, where the user follows the opponent as if they were their shadow. This is most efficient after the opponent is knocked away (or in the air), a catalyst used to chain a combo. SIDE EFFECTS: The user appears at three areas of the opponents space, though never in front of them, this means either at the left or right sides and behind them.
Revolve - Mawaru TYPE: Taijutsu NATURE: - RANK: D CHAKRA COST: Low RANGE: Short DESCRIPTION: The user makes this technique an incredibly useful one especially in battle against opponents that focus on overpowering their opponents to destroy them. The user twists their limb rotating it to parry a strike and neutralize or lessen the force of a strike from the opponent. This skill also works for the entire body, spinning the body with the strike in order to dodge an attack from the opposing force or to lessen the force. SIDE EFFECTS: The user can still be knocked away by an opponents force if they have great amounts of physical strength. Timing is everything for this attack and if the user doesn't dodge an opponents strike correctly they could be counterattacked. The users arm is rotating or counter-blocks the strike.
Force Palm - Rikikan Hirate TYPE: Taijutsu NATURE: - RANK: B CHAKRA COST: Med RANGE: Short DESCRIPTION: The user positions themselves ready to counter attack an opponent in an instant when they come to attack. Taking a step backwards with one foot to build power, and jutting the palm forward as soon as the opponent enters the space, the attack releases an extreme force from such an attack. The secret of the technique is that the use of the opponents aggression, weight and force releases from the impact of the palm sending all the opponents energy back against them. SIDE EFFECTS: Opponents can dodge the attack by a hair's breadth if they see the back-step movement as they see something may be coming to smash them. The skill is also done from a stance as well and must be readied. The users arm will be outward if it hits the opponent and pulled back if dodged.
Body Waxing - Hadami Roubiki TYPE: Taijutsu NATURE: - RANK: C CHAKRA COST: Low-Med RANGE: Short DESCRIPTION: A technique that in all instances is used in order to weaken or tear the muscles with the least bit of effort. The user strikes the opponent not with a destructive attack but by sliding the palms against the body using the technique to force the muscles to tear by pressing against the tendons and muscle fibers. By doing this the user attacks the opponents muscles making the spot touched in pain after vigorous movements from the opponent giving it a delayed effect of muscle spasms and pulling. This skill is made to neutralize the opponents ability to maneuver without immense pain of the body and is not a lethal technique. SIDE EFFECTS: The user must be fully touching the opponents body with the palm or else it will not work. The users palms will be open, after striking against the opponents body.
Phantom Step - Genei Hobu TYPE: Taijutsu NATURE: - RANK: C CHAKRA COST: Low RANGE: Short DESCRIPTION: A technique that is widely known for: the Phantom Step. Here, the user is capable of utilizing the natural fluidity of the style while in motion, creating optical distortion of the warrior’s body. With this done, it becomes harder (or difficult) for an opponent to pick up the movements of the fighter. SIDE EFFECTS: Quick enough opponents can understand the steps flows and patterns. The user is moving with such fluidity that they seem to be in the same spot but with different movements for their body parts allowing for "feints".
Phantom Step; The Second Movement - Genei Hobu; Daini Gakushou TYPE: Taijutsu NATURE: - RANK: B CHAKRA COST: RANGE: Short DESCRIPTION: An advanced stage of the Phantom Step. With this technique the user is capable of moving so smoothly that a single ‘after-image’ of oneself is created. An optical illusion achieved through fluid movement, basically. This image cannot move on its own nor can it be controlled by the user. It can only be left in a still position. This tactic is used often to confuse an opponent so the fighter is capable of executing an attack. SIDE EFFECTS: Fast enough opponents can recognize it as an afterimage. The user will probably be only a few meters away from the spot which has the afterimage, the afterimage lasts for only a moment (2 seconds at most).
Pressure Step - Atsu Hobu TYPE: Taijutsu NATURE: - RANK: B CHAKRA COST: Med RANGE: Short DESCRIPTION: Here, the user is capable of gathering a large amount of energy by only taking a single step forward. When applying this technique to a strike, the user is able to completely blow back an opponent, the force is so large that the opponent feels all the weight of the strike and whatever they slam into causes incredible damage to their bodies unless they are incredibly resilient opponents. SIDE EFFECTS: Opponents can side-step from the tell. The user will press both palms forward to attack with the palms.
