How much has this world changed?...Toshiro was not a boy that couldn’t see that far into life – even he noticed how so much had changed over time. From small feats like the changing of how the Village ran, the evolution of the deadly Academy exams, and even beyond that how men like Sasuke Uchiha can just change their ways after so many years of pain and darkness. He just wondered if the world was really as it seemed to have changed. These thoughts clouded his mind as he was training in the Kirigakure Mountain area by a lake that he himself thought was not that popular to most. He practiced his speedy runs on the water while maintaining his chakra control. He also made his hand signs to unleash the Hidden Mist Technique over the area so he can practise in peace. While he ran and made various flips to practice his agility, he unleashes multiple Serpent Mouths from the body of water to lunge and attack himself. Effortlessly, he dodged every one of them as their gaping jaws aiming for him crashed back into the lake of water from whence they formed.
<’Are you using this training to distract your thoughts?’> A voice in Toshiro’s head only audible for him asked him genuinely what he was distracting himself from. ”I’m fine.” He whispered to himself answering the voice he knew all too well. Saiken obviously knew him too well, but he refused to give in to the ‘other voice of reason’ in his mind.

Toshiro had gone off again to train it seemed and so they sent him to check on. It wasn't that they didn't trust him they just wanted to make sure no one disturbed him. Jinchuriki training was important and not to be interfered with. So he was making his way up the mountain now to meet up with him. It'd been a rough morning having had that nightmare again. He'd see Ringo again and ran to save her only to gave the ground give way. Then he'd find himself falling into a vast ocean trying to surface only to begin drowning as he struggled to get up. Then he'd wake up covered in sweat breathing heavy. All morning he'd been distracted by thoughts of the dream and what it might mean. Going to meet Toshiro provided a much needed distraction and so he'd jumped at the order right away. Finally he'd reach the top of the path he was following and there he saw a lake and running across it was Toshiro the Six Tailed Jinchuriki. He was training obviously and so he stood there watching now arms by his side a small bag in one hand. Such an amazing power he must possess being a host of a Bijuu. Most didn't like the tailed beasts or their hosts but he had to admire them and their determination to go on as they did to earn everyone's respect. He'd reach up to adjust his mask a little before letting his arm fall to his side again he'd remain silent for now until the younger male had finished his training session.

Toshiro kept it up for as long as he can, moving at agile and focused pace as he dodged and countered his very own attacks. After dodging the last move, he stopped atop the water’s surface, with his hands on his knees as he bent his back slightly, he slowly panted and looked down at his own rippling reflection in the water. He looked at himself with high focus as he caught his breath. He looked at a young white-haired boy with passion in his eyes, and strength as well. He acted like he never really gave himself a good look in the mirror. He started to wonder if he really changed through everythng, and what would be expected of him as well. After all, he was still young, and his short height did still give him the appearance of a kid. That was one of the things that both bugged him, and he loved – being short made him appear to be inexperience. Who would think a kid like him would be a Jinchuriki if people didn’t already know? Looking on the surface of the water, he could make out the reflection of another couple of beings – he didn’t know if it was the real thing, but he could always seem to make out Saiken somewhere in his eyes, but another being was further off from their reflection.
”So they sent you to watch over me, Kisame? I’m not that much of a kid,” he yelled out. Soon, the mist from his Mist Technique was starting to dissipate. He knew that it was his job as an ANBU to be watching over him as one of the Village’s Jinchuriki, but sometimes, it still felt like babysitting. He was in the year long war, didn’t that cut him any slack?

Toshiro had grown quite skilled for a Jinchuriki. More so than the last one Kirigakure had had for Saiken. Jade wasn't too bad either both of them had grown strong with control over their Bijuu. Maybe not control was the word but their bonds were stronger with their Bijuu they got along better and because of it they'd gotten more power from them. He had to admire the two Jade more so because he had a crush on her for awhile Jinchuriki or not she was a beautiful woman now and simply amazing to be around. "I don't think your kid at all Kaida. I don't see it as babysitting though or a job. We could train or something just hang out y'know." He replied scratching at the back of his head now. Not that the village didn't trust him they were thankful for his efforts in the past. Maybe it was babysitting but he saw no need to treat Toshiro like that himself. He wanted him to see him as a friend of sorts someone he could be comfortable around and talk to about anything or do anything with like training. He wouldn't treat him like some kid he was a shinobi and perfectly capable of taking care of himself few were stupid enough to fight a Jinchuriki. He'd reach up to remove his mask now. To show his face was a sign of trust that he wouldn't just hide himself and treat him like some kid no he deserved more respect than that didn't he? He liked to believe he did even if some or most of his fellow Hunter Nin didn't. He walk closer now arms at his side so he could be seen more.

Toshiro smirked. He already knew the ANBU that was assigned to him that day somewhat well. He was someone he could consider not just comrade, but friend as well. From the start, he was never scared of Toshiro, or what he was. He was always there to say a greeting, or to get to know him as a person and not just as one of the Village’s interesting experiments. Time cut along, and have changed their paths, but the two still communicated. Seeing him there was kinda a surprise, and a good one. If anyone had to watch him, Toshiro was glad it was Kisame. Other guards would just be silent, or treat him like a child or treasure that had to be looked after with no rest. He signalled Kisame to join him out on the lake as he looked around, being mindful of his surroundings. He waited for him to come closer on the scene before speaking out, ”If you want to make yourself more useful then a watchguard Kisame-san, let’s spar – test each other out.” Saiken grumbled to itself as it knew that his host was merely seeking distraction from whatever was really bothering him. However, it knew that Toshiro was honest and open through battle. <”Use this battle to voice out your concerns. Kisame is your friend, so it’s ok.”> Toshiro scoffed under his breath as he distanced himself from Kisame a bit more as he would come out on the lake’s surface. He just wanted to fight, or he really just wanted to express himself the best way he knew how. Either way, he was glad Kisame was there.

Casshern could remember thinking Toshiro becoming a Jinchuriki had been the coolest thing in the world. Most people shied away from the white haired male afraid if they upset him they'd set him off but not him. No he'd greeted Toshiro with a smile on his face and asked to hang out with him. Of course the boy had expected him to be like the others but he'd proved him wrong. He'd always seek out Toshiro's company to hang out and do things be it just learning about each other and talking or getting some training. Their time together had gotten a little shorter after the incident with killing his own sister but he was starting to come out of his shell again and become a little more and more like his old self the one most people remembered him being. He'd nod and walked out on the lake now. He didn't care for most of his fellow Hunter Nin they took their jobs too seriously and lacked social skills unlike Kuroko the man he idolized to be someday and surpass. "Alright Toshiro-san and don't worry I wont hold back either. Jinchuriki or not I'll treat you as any opponent I'd normally face." He replied once within hearing range stopping as Toshiro moved back a little putting a little more distance between the two. He knew Toshiro liked to distract himself from his problems and that fighting was how he seemed to prefer voicing his concerns to others. On his back rested his sheathed katana but he wouldn't be using that yet. No he was quick to launch the first offensive move as he flashed handsigns for his Water Release Water-Heavens Convergence technique. Moving his right hand up a several streams of water would rise up like snakes and then thrusting his hand forward they shot towards Toshiro the heads forming into fists aiming to smash into Toshiro from various angles now.

Toshiro respected Kisame; even if he was an ANBU that was usually asked to ‘monitor’ Toshiro’s actions and locations. It was ironic because he found a friend aligned with his enemy sometimes. All the ANBU wanted to do was regulate him instead of trusting him to take care of himself. However, he could understand that the Mizukage was looking out for the Village’s and his best interest by protecting their military strength. It would just be annoying sometimes though; moreover, the ones that watched him merely saw him as just that – a tool for the Village, and possibly a threat to the very people he was meant to protect. Toshiro was considered a young genius even by the Kage because never once did he have a problem with Saiken that resulted in a destructive transformation. The two were only merely just in sync, but the Village saw it as a blessing. Still, people considered him weird and possibly destructive, so he was treated differently. Though, there were people that made Toshiro not start the path of antisocialness – people like Kisame who saw him as a person. He appreciated it because he always considered his thoughts and opinions. Sometimes, he would open up back to the Jinchuriki too. He even knew that he was going through something rough that he would not try to provoke; if he wanted to share, Toshiro would let him decide. He punched his palm with his fist and kept it positioned there thinking; still deep into his earlier thoughts.
Toshiro could still hear Kisame shouting out that he wouldn’t be holding back. He still looked down to his fist-filled palm and wondered more to the bigger questions in life. Though, he was warned by Saiken to pay attention that the stranger was attacking. Toshiro noticed sharply already though that the water began to pop up forming fists of their own as they came down to Toshiro. He merely grinned as the fists all pounded right into his form and cascaded back into the lake with a spray and crash of water impacting. However, pieces of an old tree was now floating on the spot where Toshiro was. The Substitution was simple and possibly expected by the Hunter Nin. Toshiro was swimming underwater as he could look up and see Kisame’s feet upon the surface. He took the time to form the hand signs and unleash his Mizu no Tatsumaki Jutsu: the tornado of water shot up from Toshiro’s hands and shot up to Kisame. Powered by the same water it was shooting up from, the powerful tornado shot up to engulf the ninja, and would only tighten and come closer until it neutralized itself from the force of the spinning, cutting water. Toshiro held his breath and watched as his counter unfolded.
