Kuro always respected her work ethic he was a studious worker himself, but he tended to relax more with a good book. He had started and was considering writing a book himself, but that idea had left him some time ago. What with the house being predominately female there was little time to breathe let alone write, but reading was his escape from that. Being a hard worker Kuro knew his wife would be a perfect sensei she was knowledgeable and a great role model. She had women lining up to be her students or putting in good words for their daughters. He thought it would be a good idea for her to be a sensei it would get her out of the house and best of all keep her busy burning off all her energy or at least burning off the excess. Kuro laughed. “Still it’s best to start your habit building now or at least work on you innuendos. Of course baby I love everything about you. From your pert and shapely backside your impressive bust to the way you look when you’re sleeping. Enchanting.” He said swirling the juice around in his cup as his daughter squirmed to try and take it away from him. Kuro dreaded talking to his sisters about anything pertaining to their bodies. That was a box he didn’t want opened anytime soon. “You better do it. I’ll stick with my one golden girl.” He said finishing his drink and bouncing his daughter on his knee. He nodded in agreement. “Sorry my little snowflake, but you’ll have to stay with your aunts tonight. Try and keep them in line will you?” He said with a smile and her smiling back showing off a few of her pearly whites. “Oh really should I be bringing a blanket for this surprise. It can get awfully chilly out there.” He had noticed something different about Maria, but he chalked up her excitement to the white lightning training.

Relaxing had always been one of her issues always tending to overwork herself. She knew she shouldn't but it was a habit something she did usually without thinking ending up in her getting carried away. She felt bad for him being outnumbered the way he was four to one and didn't blame him for escaping from them whenever he could he deserved a little time to himself. Perhaps a team would be a good way to burn off more energy if she was kept busy doing it which was the reason Kuro seemed to suggest it in the first place. "Makes sense to me. You flatter me so such a handsome and sweet strong man I married." She'd reply giving him a quick kiss on the lips. She'd blush at his compliments she knew all too well how he loved her body. She had the perfect build and frame for her size seeing no issues with what she was blessed with she wouldn't change a thing and knew Kuro wouldn't want her to either she chuckled softly at the thought. "Well I am a female so I suppose that would be the wiser thing to do." Nothing was more awkward that a girl talking to a guy about her physical problems. To be honest she'd always kept those to herself before meeting Kuro. Awkward as it was for him to ask it was sweet to know he cared about that kind of stuff so she didn't have a problem talking to him about stuff like her cycle coming around usually he asked when it might be but he'd been so busy he hand't asked yet not really noticing she'd missed her last period which was a relief it'd ruin her surprise then. "That's my girl she'll make sure they behave." She replied smiling at her daughter now ruffling her hair a little. "Yeah I'm sure we'll need one after you find out what it is." Her being pregnant again was enough reason to celebrate for sure. "Prepare the basket will you while I get Mizumi ready for the night and talk to your sisters?" She'd ask giving Mizumi her sippy cup filled with juice before picking her up from Kuro's lap securely holding her now as she walked out to leave him to his task now.

Kuro liked that Maria put all of herself into everything she did, but she had the tendency to lose herself in it, which is what made him worry about her. It was true he was out numbered in the house and with Shira and Sara coming into their own pretty soon he’d be on watch twenty four seven his sisters were sociable girls, but that didn’t mean they were easy, and they may hate him for it , but he made their father a promise he would keep them safe and that meant from boys who just wanted and easy lay. Not happening, not while he still breathed. Kuro blushed alongside her as she complimented him. “What can I say I have a lot to work with.” He said reluctantly handing over his daughter as she took hold of her sippy cup. “Sorry dear mommy and daddy about to go, but we’ll be back.” He said reassuringly. Kuro nodded at her. “They didn’t put me in charge for my good looks.” He said with a confident smile. Being a trained doctor could talk to his sister about it, but that would be too awkward, and they had enough of those kinds of moments to last a life time. “Well if it’s leading to that it must be really good, and thanks again babe.” He said going to pack the basket with sandwiches, juice, and sake. Soon enough they were ready to head out. “Alright you three be good!” He shouted before holding his arm out to Maria. “Shall we?”

It was one of the many traits she shared with her mother. Evelyn at times had gotten so caught up with training she'd blocked out her children entirely leaving servants to care for them. She'd been quite upset when her mother blew her off after wanting to discuss why her body was changing and effecting her the way it did why it bled sometimes. In the end Shiva had to explain it to her that had been more awkward than she expected it to be. Shira and Sara were reaching that age now themselves it was amusing to see how he got so protective over them giving Sara's boyfriend subtle friends so Sara wouldn't pick up on them but her boyfriend did and Maria did for sure. "Well that's good I like to keep you busy." And work with it he did he never left any part of her untouched everything got equal attention. Mizumi would pout a little being taken away from him but she'd smile again having her sippy cup as he reassured her they'd return soon enough. "Of course it was your brains." She understood the reason it was awkward was that he was their older brother. Sure he was a trained doctor and knew a lot about the subject probably more than she herself did but that didn't make it any easier to talk about being a guy who couldn't relate to the issue. "I wont spoil but yes it is." She replied carrying Mizumi off now. She'd find his twin sisters in their room and explaining the situation handed Mizumi off to Shira the more responsible one telling her she wanted to speak to her later about something and then she was off to rejoin Kuro. "Yes let's." She replied taking his arm with her own now following him outside. This place had been the place for their first date giving it a symbolic meaning and after tonight when all was said and done it'd have even more meaning to them both the thought bringing a smile to her face wider than before.

Kuro was told by everyone he was the spitting image of his father. The mind set the work ethic everything except his stuttering, and he had even overcome that now, well sort of. He stuttered on occasion when he was shocked or really angry. The memories he had of his parents were his most treasured his father the silent but powerful man that he was filled with wisdom beyond measure. His mother the compassionate stutterer she was. Thinking about them brought a tear to his eye. He had rarely given himself time to grieve their loss. His father had needed him strong to help with his sisters, and then after his death he had needed to be even stronger to take care of them. "You keep me very busy indeed babe.” He said giving her butt a pinch as she took Mizumi away. He almost felt sad about leaving her with his sisters, but they had to do it. Kuro blushed taking over his clan had been a special day the few clan members they had felt he deserved after being so stalwart in making their clan respectable instead of feared. He nodded at Maria. “Very well then my sweet wife.” He waited at the door and then they set off. Kuro looked out at the night sky as they sat together under the blanket. He looked at Maria and took a deep breath. “So what’s your secret? I think I might know, but knowing my luck I’ll be way off.” He said with an abashed smile.

It'd always been clear she took after Evelyn in looks and personality to a fault with noticeable differences. Shiva was nothing like their mother strangely she was more like their Aunt Reshira and Astaroth had her share of traits from Evelyn but she was more like her father from what Evelyn had spoken of the man the few times she had with Astaroth. Mizumi was no different and though she favored her father's attention she was more like Marianisa in a lot of ways stubborn never giving up on things she put her little mind to. The little girl refused to cry when she got hurt no she seemed to suck it up and push on attempting whatever she failed again until she got it right. She'd gasp at the pinch he might seem like a good guy who always followed the rules to a t but he could be a bad boy when he wanted to be with her she rather enjoyed when he was more forward like that finding it a real turn on when he got aggressive and dominating like that with her. She smiled sheepishly she liked to be a good tease sometimes making him work for something. A trait Shiva had rubbed off onto her it seemed not that she minded Kuro seemed to like how Shiva had changed her like she had. It didn't take long to reach the spot as they found themselves under the blanket looking up at the stars the picnic basket yet to be touched though in a hand she held some juice in a cup having refused Sake yet another sign to Kuro probably that something was amiss. "It's no fun if I tell you right away. You may have three guesses if you get one right then I will tell you." She replied with a smirk on her face sipping her juice some resting her free hand atop her stomach as she sighed in content now tonight was just perfect.

Kuro worried about his daughter and her stubborness that was so apparently from Marianisa. She never cried which worried him, but then again Kuro was a natural born worrier. Anything concerning his family and he was worried. He'd tried to break the habit, but it was just too strong after all he'd started being a father at the age of sixteen caring for two sweet little four year olds. At that age he had to be a worry wart, or else he might miss something. Kuro smirked at her gasp knowing she loved it when he did something spontaneous. As they sat he fished in the basket for a sandwhich and started to munch on it thinking about his first guess. He went over everything she'd done out of the ordinary. He thought about her refusing sake, and the belly rubs she'd been giving herself. "Do you have like a stomach flu or something. I might have a medicine in my bag for that." He said fishing around in his medic pack. "You should of just told me Maria I am a liscensed doctor after all."

It was easy to see from day one of dating him he worried quite a bit about certain things. Having sex for the first time he'd been so worried he might hurt her in some way. He had but that was only natural for the first time having sex with each other it'd never happen again after that. He worried constantly about his twin sisters who they dated and what their intentions were every time they left to see their boyfriends. Now he worried about Mizumi's stubborn streak how she often hurt herself attempting new things and how she rarely cried. She kept telling him Mizumi was fine that she was just stubborn and wanted to impress her daddy finding that was the most important thing to her above her mother's praise towards her. "No I don't think I have a stomach flu so that's not it silly. You have two guesses left hun." Honestly she wasn't surprised Mizumi hadn't told him something was amiss with her mother she was usually the first to notice before Kuro did. She'd stopped drinking Sake and increased her sweets mainly Dango intake to compensate. Then there was the mornings she'd been throwing up while Kuro was asleep. She was always rubbing her stomach and on the occasion she sang to her unborn child something she'd only done before when carrying Mizumi. All the signs were there and had been seen before so all it was now was a matter of her husband using his brains to put two and two together to finally understand. "I suppose if you need another hint it's meaning is justice and it's something you've wanted for awhile now." She hoped that didn't give it away too easily. He'd always wanted a son planning to name him Kyuhei if and when they finally did have one. It was too early to tell if it would be a boy but some part of her told her it was and so she named the child Kyuhei. Once he guessed right he'd be so excited dinner would be forgotten for sure but she didn't mind she didn't really plan to come out here to eat anyways least not food anyways.

Kuro wished he could stop worrying if he did he was sure his life would be a lot less stressful, but he couldn't help it they were his family and it was only natural for him to worry this much. She said it wasn't a stomach flew, so there was one guess gone, he thought about what she had been doing lately. No sake, stomach rubbing, dango packages around the house like we own a shop, and at random times he would catch her singing. What did all that add up to? He rand a hand through his hair and then finally he understood after she said justice. His eyes widened before he facepalmed. "Baka!" He shouted and then hugged her. "I am so sorry I should have noticed, but I was..." And then another realization had hit him he'd been working non-stop he was never home he was always at the tower working with Darui, even after the Kage told him it was ok for him to leave he stayed. He barely saw his daughter and when he was home with his sisters he was either doing paperwork or sleeping. His work had blinded him to what was going on in his household. To the point that he couldn't even notice the signs of his wife's pregnancy. "I work....too much don't I?" He questioned her and looked her in the eye. He moved away from her he felt so guily. How could he do this to them they were his family, and he'd abandoned them. "Bee would be ashamed of me." He said looking down into the black water of the ravine. He and his master had trained here for day on end sometimes, and now it was in this place that he realized his greatest failure.
