It was a nice sunny afternoon and the sky had no clouds in it. A young blond girl appeared to be about seventeen years old was out in the training grounds of Kumo practicing some moves. Of course this girl didn’t need much practice as she was skilled in her techniques and moves as well as the factor of agility. This kunoichi was named Mae and she was the youngest of three kids, though now it seemed like she was just an only child as they things went in the past. Her sister was no longer allowed in the village or nation for that matter and her brother had past away a few years back. This young women though learned that she was stronger and better than her family and in time she knew she’d prove that not all Yuuki women were the same. She refused to give up on anything and also had a grudge against her older sister Alessia. For a moment as she was lacking energy she decided to sit down and have a little picnic on the training grounds. As it was a beautiful day she knew it would be nice to be on her own for a few before she would have to back to her own training as a medic. As she sat down she pulled out of her bag a small sandwich and a bowl of rice. She began eating as she heard a bit of footsteps behind her.

Kuro was walking in hopes of meeting Mar yuuki Alessia's younger sister. He had gotten word that she wanted to be a medic, and Kuro's skills in medicine came highly recommended, so it was no wonder her parents wanted her to train under him. He saw her in the distance training it was here he had first sparred with her sister. He shook his head ridding his thoughts of that traitor. He walked into the training fields and made himself known. "Mae Yuuki? I am Chihoumae Kuro. I hear that you want to be a medic nun. I myself am one and would be willing to take you on as a student." He said with a friendly grin.

Mae finished her food and was a bit stuff from everything her mother cooked for her. The more food it seemed like she was going to explode none the less was still able to digest it pretty well. As the footsteps drew closer to her she stood up instantly looking around to see who it was. The INTEL commander Kuro Chijoumae was coming towards her. It was concerning at first that he was coming here, as she really hadn't met him before in her life. Only heard stories from the time he trained with her sister and a few INTEL agents spoke about him. Her parents though wanted her to train with him for her medic ninja training. In any case she was happy to do so, anything she figured to get a better grip on what she knew. That wasn't to say she was still a little scared of training for things. When he arrived he spoke to her asking if she was Mae and offering her a chance to train with him. Mae quickly bowed to him out of politeness and respect for the ninja and nodded yes. "I am Mae Yuuki. It is an honnor to meet you Chijoumae Kuro." She spoke so calmly and had a bit of respec t in her voice. She was still pondering about whether to take the offer or not. "I would love that actually. Not many medic ninja around who are willing to take me as a student naturally. So I would be honnored." Mae said and smiled a little. In her mind it was so happy someone had offered to take her on as a student. Most feared that she would end up like her sister or even worse than her sister because of her training and how she was in fighting. Although she was calm and more collected with her thoughts rather than Alessia. She was also determined to be better at everything that she could.

Kuro knew that the Yuukis were suffering greatly for their eldest daughter's critical mistake, but he wouldn't hold that against Mae. She was not her sister and from what she heard Mae shared the village's feelings concerning her sister. Kuro was more than willing to help Mae erase the dishonor Alessia had brought to her family. He returned the bow she gave him. He was a bit shocked at the calm formality that Mae showed. She was definitely different from her sister. "It is a pleasure to meet you Mae. I know that is why I want you as my student. Maybe together we can put an end to that." He said holding his hand out to her. Of course it wouldn't be done in a day, but in time the village could learn to trust her again.

Mae was a bit shocked still herself that he would open a trust like that with her. Her record though showed she was pretty much that she was far from her own flesh and blood. When Kuro held out his hand she took it gladly took it. “Well Commander Chijoumae you do know the stories that ninja have spoken about me right? Not just being her sister.” She spoke not even speaking her sister names in the sentence. She never really liked to speak it unless she had to but it was a topic that she tried to keep off of just simply because she was far from being her sister. “I am then glad to be your student. Yes I would love to end it all of it.” Mae spoke happily she wanted to end it all naturally it wasn’t something she liked being an odd person out in the village. Of course she rarely spoke her last name her green eyes were bright as she thought about being able to train with someone like him. It was a chance she was glad to take and could never look back on it.

Kuro knew he was taking a leap taking Mae on as his student, but he had to take the chance if her family was to come back from what Alessia had done. Kuro nodded he had indeed heard about her. "Well maybe with my training we can change that too." He placed a hand on her shoulder. "Maybe this time I'M putting my faith in the right Yuuki?" He said giving her a confident smile. "Now follow me. We're going to the hospital so you can show me the extent of your medic ninjutsu." He walked towards the hospital and entered. He nodded towards several nurses before heading towards an examination room.

Mae didn’t really know any medical jutsu just what she could do as far as being able to sew up wounds and such. She shrugged when he spoke about training and changing her way of how she was. “I would say this I don’t think that’s possible really. When I get in that moment of fighting… I tend to get a little bit too much into it.” She said shrugging a little about the whole thing. She knew it and couldn’t really control it due to it being the core of who she was. Kuro spoke about this time choosing the right Yuuki, which was hard to hear knowing her own sister would have given any chance to have this opportunity when she was this age. “I am sure you do. Between Alessia and I we are the opposites of everything. I am far from her and I am also a lot more serious about my training and succeeding than she was.” Mae spoke about her own sister. It was though the truth about the two siblings they were the polar opposite of each other but made things a bit more interesting in the faith they had. When he spoke now about going to the hospital to show him her medical ninjitsu. She bit her lip and followed figuring it was good as any time to tell him about it. “Well… that’s the issue with not having really anything for Medic training.” Mae said quietly hoping that wouldn’t be anything against her. “but I can do basic medical stuff like stitches and such.” she added in the same tone of voice.

Kuro knew that Mae didn't really have any medic ninjutsu, but that was fine he just wanted to see if she had the aptitude for it. Most thought being a medic ninja was an easy task they were sorely mistaken. One slip a moments lapse in concentration and your patient was a goner. Kuro had had a leg up when he started his medic training. He had already had an in depth knowledge of blood and the body so his training hadn't been as difficult, but Mae's would be. He shook his head. "I've seen people lose it in battle, in fact my wife's brother in law Is quite the battle beast, and I would trust him with my life." Kuro had placed a lot on her sister, but her time was long since passed. "I'm sure you are Mae, in fact I'm banking on it." Once inside the hospital room he turned to her. "I'm well aware Mae, Iwant you to show me what you do know." Kuro pulled out a ballistic jell dummy with the exact proportions of a human body. He brought out a kunai slashing across the stomach and arm. "This man is about to bleed out you need to staunch the bleeding and sew up the wounds you have three minutes." Kuro stepped back looking at his watch to time her.

Mae smiled a little now hoping this was going to be a good thing that was happening with him. She knew that she was handing with some needle and thread, she almost had to be with her siblings. The kunoichi nodded at him when he started to speak about his brother-in-law. She was glad to hear that there was always someone out there could be trusted. “Well I guess that’s a good thing then right? I don’t really have many people I can trust anymore. Not even my parents.” She spoke knowing it was kind of odd to say she didn’t trust her own family. She smiled happily when he said that he was banking on her being a lot of that. “Good because I am always glad to better myself.” Mae said happily to him. She watched him pull out a dummy and then sliced it. At least he knew she didn’t have much on her medical stuff. He gave her the instruction on what she needed to do. She quickly grabbed needle and thread and started moving on his arm sewing it up tight where no blood would escape and tied the knot. She moved on to his stomach and started to sew it up just like the dummy’s arm. Mae watched what she was doing and was careful at where she was sewing making sure she didn’t do hit any veins or sew the wrong spot up. She didn’t know how long it was that she had been at this but she finally finished the dummy’s stomach putting a knot to tie the other end up. “I am not sure how long that was or if I went over.” She said stepping away from the human dummy.

Kuro did find it odd she couldn't trust her parents, but it was not his job to pry he was here to train her. "I'm sorry to hear that, but I'm sure you'll work through it." He said confidently. "And in the meantime you can trust me." He nodded glad that she wanted to better herself. Kuro nodded as she got to work and then inspected her work. "Well done Mae. You should always start with the most severe and work your way down." He said before walking towards her. "You have real talent teaching you will be easy." He made his way this office and then pulled out a chart. "I'm going to make sure you are familiar with the human body inside and out, so lets begin."

Mae smiled a little she was glad to have a mentor and to actually be having a bit of fun in the hospital. When Kuro spoke about not trusting her parents she shrugged a little knowing its what her siblings use to do too. “It’s alright, it was something I pick up on with Leo and Alessia when they were around and living in the house.” Mae brushed it off as if it was nothing. She really started to miss her sister and brother but figured that was growing up things changed and family left or died you just moved on. She knew what her sister did was wrong but in a way she was kind of happy for her in the sense she was happy. “Of course I can trust you I mean your awesome.” She commented on him. She already was starting to enjoy her time with Kuro and felt that he could be trusted. As she looked at her work she released she did things backwards instead of starting at the stomach she started with the arm. Mistake on her part but at least it wasn’t a real human. “Right…” Mae said nodding knowing she had messed up but knew that she could live on with that little mistake. The next thing spoken was the fact she had a real talent for this and she blushed a little. “Well when you’re the younger sibling to two ninjas who manage to get hurt some how you learn medical skills quickly.” She said with a laugh. It was true that’s how she learned to sew up wounds and such. The blond walked back with him to his office, and looked at the medical chart. Her green eyes normally so calm lite up like a light bulb as she examined it. “This is going to be easy.” She said with confidence knowing she had a pretty good memory.

Kuro couldn’t imagine a home where three children couldn’t trust their own parents. For the time his parents were around he trusted them explicably. They were his parents after all. But he didn’t say anything about it. Kuro blushed after her praise and shook his head. “I am but a simple cloud ninja.” He said humbly. Kuro looked at her stitch work it was sublime tight knit, but not so much the flesh would tear. She was quite handy with a needle. Kuro nodded he had had to do the same as well with how danger prone his sisters had been. “I know the feeling trust me.” Kuro laughed at the excitement in her eyes and her gung ho attitude. “I’m glad you’re excited let’s begin.” He spent the next few hours getting her familiar with the body and all its functions. He sat down after the brief lesson seeing it start to get dark outside. “Wow time flies.” He stretched and looked at Mae. “Well that was a good first day Mae come back tomorrow and we’ll delve in deeper.” He said standing up and opening the door for her.

Mae knew it was odd for her not to trust them but she was sure it was something that happened when she was younger. She never pressed on the feelings only knowing the ones who she could trust were her siblings and now it wasn’t really that. She knew she could Kuro he hadn’t done anything wrong to her which made sense. She laughed when he said he was just a simple cloud ninja. “That you are but still awesome.” The kunoichi said with a smile, she enjoyed the fact she was going to have some entertainment with her training. He spoke again about understanding where she came from. She laughed a little. “Its crazy how we learn things so quickly when we are young.” Mae said with a little laugh. She knew things that were probably above her level in knowledge just by learning things from her sister and brother. When she sat down she looked at the chart as the lesson started. She was so happy that she could not help but pay attention to every detail. When the blond looked outside she couldn’t believe it was already becoming dark it just seemed that it was afternoon. Kuro spoke and she nodded. “I didn’t think it was becoming night.” She said with a smile and stood up stretching. Mae headed for the door nodding to him. “It was fun I learned so much. Of course see you tomorrow!” She said waving as she walked out the door.

Kuro had trusted his family explicably, but seeing as no one would trust him as he was a Chijoumae all he really had was family, but he knew that his life could not be mirrored by others, and so he would not judge her. Kuro blushed as she continued to push the issue he was awesome. “Fine I won’t argue that and thank you Mae. You are part of the very few people who have told me that.” He could see Mae being his student in not just Medical ninjutsu. After all he was the only one who knew the true Raiton armor and the third’s hell stab technique. Still it required stamina and a very strong constitution to be able to handle that kind of power. “A child’s mind is like a sponge.” He said simply. Kuro nodded at her. “Well out of all the students I’ve had you are by far the best.” He said placing an arm on her shoulder. “Before you go Mae I wanted to know what you though to of the Raiton armor?” he said as he locked the door to his office and headed out.

Mae couldn’t help but feel so happy that this was a dream coming true as she had been trying to step out of her siblings shadows for six years. She was now showing how much of a medic ninja she could be. Of course she was like Kuro when it came to praise she was very humble about the whole thing. She was glad to be his student at this point. “It’s a losing battle when you’re arguing against me.” She started out saying with a laugh. It was true though she managed some way to argue a point if she needed. “You’re very welcome Chijoumae Sensei. I think more people should tell you that.” She added happily. She knew it had to be said as she enjoyed being around him of course she could never give this up being his student. When he spoke again she had to nod to that just because it was true children exposed to things tended to soak things up quicker than they would as an adult. “That’s the truth.” She said in agreement to him. Mae blushed a little when he said that she was his best student yet. It was something that she couldn’t actually take in. She was happy to hear it but she felt she had a lot more training to go before she was the best at anything. “I am sure there was a student far better than me. I mean I am just learning things as I go.” She said with a little smile. She figured there had to be someone who was better than her at things. She was the top of her class but she studied and trained harder than anyone out there. Before she left she felt his hand on her shoulder and she looked at him curiously as he spoke about the raiton armor. She knew the basics of what it was and only heard stories of it from Alessia. “I haven’t seen it in action yet. But from what well Alessia told me she said it was weird but it sounds so cool.” Mae said figuring she’d have to say the truth. She was fascinated by the whole idea of it.
