A rift would open in the middle of an open field and from it Zero appeared concealed by the hood of the plain black cloak he wore. Land of Lightning. He couldn't remember the last time he had set foot here. Not since he had helped Obito destroy his clan. He wasn't sure why he had really come back here. He had met with Sasuke Uchiha of all people and shortly afterwards he had underwent surgery. Two weeks later here he stood and as he lifted his hood off now and slowly both of his eyes opens revealing his new set of EMS eyes flashing brightly in the sunlight. Closing his eyes briefly again and then opening them again they had returned to his normal eyes. He glanced around before moving forward towards a hill now and reaching the top his eyes came to rest on the ruins of his clan's compound which were located just near the border. What had once been a impressive sight to behold was nothing more than ash and rubble now.
"Hm." He started to descend towards the ruins now. It was amazing some of the buildings were partially intact on the outside but inside the same couldn't be said. He glanced around the place as he tried to visualize what it had once looked like before. Closing his eyes he let his memories take him away. He was twelve again. He was in a hurry somewhere it seemed. He could remember panicking because he had been late. He tore through the compound bumping into several people muttering an apology whenever he did. Soon enough he arrived at the Elder Council Building and rushing inside he found his parents waiting standing before the Elder council now. He would go to stand between his parents as the Elders began speaking of the fight he had gotten into with his teammate and rival Yoshitori and how he had shamed the clan because of it. When his father had been the one punished for his actions being stripped of his position as head of the clan he could remember his rage and outburst at the Elders trying to defend his father only to be silenced. His father had never treated him the same afterwards.
"Fools." Opening his eyes now he found himself back in the present. It seemed his feet had led him inside the ruins of the Elder's council chambers. He glanced around easily able to picture every member's face and the look of uncaring towards him on it before moving to sit down on a pile of rubble sliding his hood back on now hands in his lap. It was that day his ridicule had begun by the other members of the clan being called a zero and a hopeless prodigy. It was also here that the destruction of his clan starting with the Elders and the clan records had begun. The day that would set him on the path towards a greater destiny being reborn into the one known as Zero Cypher. He would smile closing his eyes again memories taking him once more.

However as it were she also knew she needed to know more about him, about his life and past. Yet she knew only one thing, where to start. This was the only reasonable way to begin and to her the only possible exception to the order of nature. She had not seen Zero nor the clan as it were to which she would go to keeping her mind in the steady. Traveling to the Land of Lightning was easy now days due to the war twelve years ago that caused a tight knit treaty between the lands. Kumogakure was a place she had been to only once as a young child on a mission to retrieve good for trade between the villages as she was a genin at the time. It happened to be one of few missions possible.
Jojo would now be in the village, asking around for questions as to what the clan was, the cipher clan, and the history there. She learned next to nothing. No one even knew the clan existed and this disappointed her quite a bit. Yet there was only one burnt ruin to which she could visit. That much she could go for, hoping to find some kind of probable way to recognize the momentum here. She was dressed in red, a kimono that accentuated her while her hair was in its white faze and her skin paler than normal. Body reconstruction of a thinner and lighter frame, even smaller. She would not allow her green hair self be seen outside the village and as such her own head band was in a tackle-box inside her belongings bag. The kimono was long, holding a red color while bamboo leaves were shaped to it, meant as a trickling blood imagery.
She kept her “Mind’s Eye of Kagura” active and thankfully her forehead’s mark was hidden to not give way to her use of chakra. Of course it was a very minimal use to her large pool of it. She would head to the burnt ruins as to find what she could when there was a scent in the air, a chakra pool she knew all too well, even when only seeing it for one day she would always know it. Thankfully she kept one sword hidden inside a bamboo walking stick, molded from her traditional katana’s to aid in her defense in case attacked at all. She managed to make it into the ruins, keeping hidden from the familiar chakra while she would move through the rubble, looking for any kind of tome or history throughout the ordeal of burnt ruins. Just one thing noticeable, a small symbol or emblem on a piece of leather parchment could be seen to her.

He was running along through the forest headed for his secret place now. His parents had had another fight again and as usual he was to blame. All he ever seemed to do was cause trouble for everyone because he refused to conform and live up to their ways. He sought strength and power to become better than the rest of his clan but that only seemed to annoy them more than anything. Slowly but surely he had become an outcast in his clan his existance tiresome and meaningless. Running into a clearing now he stopped when he found a masked man waiting for him. Zero's eyes snapped open once more mouth forming a thin line. He knew all to well it had been Obito Uchiha he had met. How he had been told he had been watching the boy for sometime now how he possessed great untapped potential. The man had become his idol once he had promised him he could fulfill all of his dreams if he joined him.
Pushing off his seated position his foot kicked some debris away. Looking down he noticed a charred photo and knelt down to pick it up. He recognized the photo all too well identical to the one he kept in his pocket. A photo of himself, his mother, and his father in front of a tree. He had been pouting as his mother ruffled his hair and his father slapped him on the back. "Good riddance." He said to himself knowing his father was dead now. He felt a slight pain in his chest over his mother but it quickly passed knowing she was free of this accursed world now. "This damn place sickens me." He had grown tired of the Elder's council chambers now. That being said he turned and headed outside again taking a deep breath before heading towards what he assumed was his old home. He could sense another chakra nearby but they seemed to be avoiding him so he would leave it alone until it bothered him. Coming here was the hardest thing he had ever done but he hoped he'd find closure here.

Though for her she looked great for the color that she wielded to her known body. Shortened to the shoulders, spiked even at some points. The chakra signature she knew to be someone precious to her did not come investigate, this instantly made her know that unless she posed a threat her body will not be targeted. For that, she would pick up the mark of the clan, or so she would think it was. Looking all around she could tell where she was as if it were in the Prime of the clan’s age. She would walk around, feeling the pillars and the weight they over took, the path to which one would walk. All of which was a pleasantry for her though no doubt a curse to those of the original time of the clan.
“A clan of high nobility, such a profitable property that could be a kingdom to its own. With the amount of rubble I guess it was a good two to three stories high, the higher up the higher the chain of command while the throne room would be,” She would stop when entering the council section, “Not one ruler, a council. Ah, so they must have given the orders in a problematic democracy. Only it would rather be a seniority rule thing here I would think.” Her summarization would continue as she pieced the puzzle together. Speaking out loud and to herself as she did so. Her eyes landed on a spear, or rather what was left of a spear. The same marking on the spears flag while the rest of the spear handle was missing. “They used metallic ore for weaponry, high class nobles yet out casts perhaps.”

It was strange in a sense looking at this place through new eyes. Eyes that had once belonged to someone else. He sighed at the thought standing before his old home or at least what was left of it. Closing his eyes again he was taken away once more. He had just turned eight years old a few days ago which meant he could start the academy soon. He had awakened his kekkai genkai at last giving his eyes a heterochroma look one red and the other blue. He could remember being so excited and running home to show his parents. His mother had been proud of him to some degree but his father had just looked at him with disdain like he had failed him somehow. Zero opened his eyes again and entered the home. He could almost picture it in it's former glory and cleanliness. He was standing in what had once been the livingroom the kitchen before him. There he could picture his mother busy as always cooking their next meal.
"Mother..." He took a deep breath and exhaled after saying the name. He had been the one to kill her or so he assumed she was dead. Killing everyone else had been easy but her it had been the hardest thing he ever had to do. Pleading with him to stop this madness and realize what he was doing was wrong. Looking back now he hadn't expected her to understand what he was trying to accomplish by helping Obito. He was setting her and the rest of his clan free from the harshness of reality. He would bare their hopes and dreams on his shoulders from then on. "They're free now that's all that matters." And yet after all of this he could still envision his father giving him that look like he always did. The thought made his blood boil a look of anger on his face now as his EMS activated a reddish black chakra roaring into life around him now. All seemed calm and then his imperfect Susanoo roared to life ripping the home to pieces kicking up a cloud of smoke as it grew outwards to surround him partially visible still in the smoke.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=background,http://i1235.photobucket.com/albums/ff422/garraslayer1/Editables%20for%20Others/0003.jpg][atrb=width,500,true][atrb=height,550,true][div style="margin-top: 130px;margin-right:130px;width:[br"]270px;height:400px;overflow:auto;color:#CC00AA] Jojo found the relic to be enticing, the symbol and its cooled lines of irregular motion, it occurred to her that this was no ordinary item nor would it seem to be that effect. To her it happened to be just the unique symbol of the clan; and as such, she would open a small journal, taking notes of the wreckage here and with that a drawing of the symbol. She would place the symbol on another page and shut the book with a small clap of the pages. Her search here was done it would seem as she passed through the wreckage as the time of day reached noon. She would have to eat soon and maybe then get some rest but not until she spoke to zero. He certainly knew she was here, and maybe even by chance detested that very thought of her being here, in the ruins of his clan’s manor.
She would disappear from that position, jumping to a closer pillar to zero as her eyes and her own inner eye caught hold of something deviant. Raw anger and emotion inside one purple colored jutsu. It was imperfect because the chakra flow was unstable and her eyes shot to it, her heart and mouth cried out, “Zero!” It was a manner to get him to control himself, she saw the destruction being caused while jumping towards him, pillar top to pillar top. Each jump calculated to not be hit by the Susanoo as the attack waged on the building. The construct so evident of peace and probable kindness, she would never know these things yet she knew the outcomes to which they may become. Anger was not good and as such if she noticed a possible way to get around the angry chakra, unharmed, and find way to wrap her arms around Zero, she was positive that it would calm his chakra. She did not like seeing such anger and this was just one of the times she would try her hardest to calm the spirits inside Zero, for she did not wish to lose him at all. To her, that was the definition of her ‘love’.

Anger was evident on his face as Susanoo continued to smash the already rubble remains of his former home. Anger that his father was dead now making him unable to kill him again. He felt wherever he was he was probably mocking or ridiculing him. He hadn't noticed Jojo yell out to him or proceed in his general direction now. He was too upset and frustrated to notice anything else. He needed to vent and it seemed like grinding his home ruins into dust was the best method for that. He had to admit feeling Susanoo's power again was still a little overwhelming and straining on his body. He started to pant a little placing a hand over his eyes as he closed them now Susanoo becoming still and silent again making no movements whatsoever. Then he opened his eyes again and saw Jojo nearby and Susanoo vanished leaving a reddish black chakra aura around Zero and a few seconds later that too vanished from view.
"I apologize for behaving so childish throwing a tantrum like some child Jojo." He spoke up now a light sigh following his words. When you got down to the bottom of it that is what he had done. Thrown a fit after getting angry and taking it out on his surroundings. He had to wonder if she thought little of him for it or whether she didn't care. She seemed worried about causing him to sigh again. "I didn't mean to make you worry about me like that. I hope you can forgive me." He said looking at Jojo directly now hands falling to his sides now. He then glanced at the destruction around him and spotted a metal box where he assumed had been the backyard and moving to pick it up opened it looking away from Jojo now. Inside he found random trinkets and a photo of himself holding out his Kumogakure headband as his mother stood alone next to him smiling. "Did you find what you were looking for here?" He asked looking back at Jojo once more.

Jojo had happily come about with a smile as she made headway through the gaps left by the chakra that soon disappeared. She would find way to hug him, grip the body and hold tightly as she would say kindly, “You are forgiven Zero. Just know that I will worry about you, it is just who I am.” Jojo would not put herself back into her original green hair form, it was too risky that it could blow up her cover if she did so. She only hoped for the best of this man and for that she would completely and utterly hope for the best in her own way and manner. Then she was asked a very interesting question by Zero.
Zero had found a small metal box and was going through it, without looking at Jojo while she would be looking at him and would sigh lightly, “No, I have not found what I was looking for because, like a good agent of darkness you destroyed any aspect of evidence to your existence. For that I would like ask you if you have anything or know anything for which I can view your evidence.” She would say it with the ease to her voice and the manner to which she would make full effect of such things. She needed full reality on the manner of speaking. Thankfully, it helped to that aspect. She would look into the eyes, dangerous and calculating, much as her own eyes have become and now she would know exactly where to be, the answers to which she wanted for her question happened to be only that she had to ask him directly about the clan’s history.

Zero simply stood there as Jojo came to him and pulled him into a deep embrace like a mother comforting her child. After a few second his hands snaked around her waist and he sighed lightly pressing his face into her right shoulder. He felt the emotion as sadness but he did not know how to cry anymore. Joining Obito he had sworn he would never cry again while at his side. He didn't want to look weak especially in front of Jojo. The last thing he wanted was her to think less of him or regret the time they had come to spend together. "I know and you shouldn't have to. I should be stronger than this but thoughts of my father just made me lose it." Hatred had been a foreign concept to him until his father started shunning him. Thinking he was just trash that would never amount to anything had given birth to it. He'd never hated someone so much and never might unless harm came to Jojo. It would be the last mistake that person ever made.
"The only proof I have is my time capsule I buried here when I was eight years old." He then handed the metal box to her. It was nothing special on the outside and it was evident it had belonged to him when he was about eight years old his crude crayon writing of his nickname Zypher on the top. "The only other proof is me and the knowledge I hold of my clan and it's history." Who would ever believe them if he told them. How it had been started by a few rogue members of the Uchiha clan and other shinobi with a different kekkai genkai. No one knew for certain but it was believed a curse had befallen their clan and so the sharigan they had once gained from the Uchiha was degraded into a kekkai genkai called the devil's eye which failed in comparison to the sharigan only possessing one of it's original abilities. Having EMS Zero felt he was the only true Cypher alive now and someday he would rebuild the clan in his own image bringing it to heights greater than before.

She would happen to pull back after he was done speaking about his father. “You are not weak, you never will be nor will you ever be. Believe in yourself and have faith accompany you like I have for you.” She would say it in a comforting yet lecture styled format. She personally believed no one was weak for crying yet there were those who did believe such things. “Life with no regret. That is why I like you so much. The dream of spending our lives with each other helps with the no regret part. So please, do not ever think that you will be weak if you cry in front of me.” She spoke calmly and filled with subtle emotion as it were.
So Cypher had all the history with his mind and in this box, there were things of his past. Jojo would look at it and even through it as she noticed childhood things of all sizes. She liked this in some effect as she could learn more things from him this way. Jojo would then smile, “You are strong Zero, strong to have survived such hardships of your life. It is good to know you are so strong too.” She would say as she would kiss him with a crane to her neck as her lips would softly touch the flesh of Zero. Pressing lips against the other and a romantic kiss as it were, she was happy to have found way to have this moment become a happier one than what it was. She still remembered the pure anger of the susanoo so whatever his father’s memory was, made him brutally angry. Only meant to make her strong enough to care for him that much more.

It was more due to a promise he made to Obito then looking weak in front of Jojo that he didn't cry. He had sworn to the Uchiha that he would kill all of his emotions and never let them hold him back or drag him down and make him look weak yet here he was. He had managed to control most but with Jojo he had awakened ones he hadn't felt in a long time. Love and caring for another. Sadness and anger towards his father. Sasuke had said he needed hatred to make Susanoo stronger and so he had begun doing just that trying to draw out his hatred he bottled up unleashing it into Susanoo to empower it even more. He knew Jojo didn't like it but it was just something he had to do and he would do his best to make sure he never harmed her with it. If he ever hurt her that way he could never forgive himself then.
"I know I'm not weak now and if anything I'm stronger for having you by my side." It was because of her he had eagerly accepted Sasuke's offer and gotten the surgery to have Madara's eye implanted. He was stronger than he ever had been before and his plan seemed more achievable now. Knowing he had someone so faithful as Jojo that maybe just maybe he might succeed where Obito failed. "That has always been the life I have lived since joining Obito Uchiha. I regret nothing that I've done to get to this point. Nothing is more important to me than my plan and my love for you Jojo." Anything else or anyone be damned. Though he did feel a slight kinship to Sasuke so he would do whatever he asked of him without hesitation. He looked back up to watch Jojo shuffle through his things now.
"I had to be to get to where I am now. Your strong too Jojo don't ever think otherwise. It's what made me fall in love with you in the first place." He smiled and then he felt Jojo kiss him passionately now. He would deepen it more after a few seconds placing his hands on her hips now. Like before all his troubles seemed to melt away and the world didn't matter anymore. It was like here and now only the two of them existed in that very moment. "So what do you want to know? Where should I start with me or my clan's history?" He asked pulling back now before planting a few small short kisses on her lips again. He knew that was why she had come here after all and it was only coincedence that they had run into each other here.

She knew of him, the history he had to the leaf village and yet it drove no fear, only an unusual resolution to knowing why Zero would learn from such a man. The dream incomplete for Obito made sense as she recognized this once more. Her eyes filtered and her smile kept up as she would listen to him. Jojo was proud that he regrets nothing up to this point and for that, it in itself made her glad. She would enjoy her time with him, and when the promise becomes complete she would be happy for eternity with him, and now she believes she has now found love. The true definition is not skill, cunning, or intelligence between two individuals. No, love is where you will give everything for one another’s dreams.
Jojo was blushing when her conclusion met his, he had said he had fallen in love with her. She could not remember a time she was so happy. Her heart had sped up its pace in her as she would be ever so much more grateful with this. She would then look on, looking at his eyes, the discolored eyes of chakra surrounding them. She would then hear his question and yet before she could answer more kisses of delicate design were exchanged. She truly loved this man, and that is why she had to know more about his heritage and who he truly was. Once the kisses gave her time to breath, her blush being bigger now, she would ask, “May I hear of you, who you truly are or were. Then after you tell me that, you can tell me of your clan at your own leisure.” She was a generous woman, it was one of her far too outstanding traits.

Like Obito with Madara he had been skeptical at first. He was only a kid barely thirteen years old. What did he know of the world's true workings. He was no stranger to pain and hatred but he knew nothing of killing someone or seeing someone kill another person. It was the life of a shinobi everyone knew that but some even then hated killing. It seemed so senseless and he listened to Obito's story about the death of the one he loved called Rin he slowly began to understand the truth. If he helped Obito succeed with his plan then he could create a world where there was no longer pain and suffering or hatred. He could finally have a father who loved him and that was all he truely wanted back then. Then Obito had been killed in the war and that had all changed. Now he sought to complete his mentor's plan to fulfill his unfinished dreams and create the world he sought to live in. He would stop at nothing until he succeeded.
He smiled seeing her blush now having admitted he did love her. He knew she must have felt the same way since it didn't seem to make her uncomfortable or shun him. He savored the taste of her lips between the kisses even though she looked different the same passion and love was still there so he didn't care what she really looked like. His mouth formed into a thin line at her questions pondering what she had asked him now. "My name was Zidane Cypher. My dream back then had been to follow in my father's footsteps and to bring greatness to our clan. I was young and naive always trying to find the best in everyone and see no faults. I was weak and all I ever did was disappoint my father. I constantly brought shame upon my clan and for it my father was made an outcast."
Zero replied clasping his hands together looking down at them now. That was when the light in his father's eyes faded. When he became a shell of his former self and began shunning Zero. When his clan even his mother had begun to shun and avoid him. He had felt so helpless he had decided to run away. "That was when I met Obito Uchiha. He opened my eyes to the true reality most ignore and set me on the path I follow now. Then he erased my clan and my records from existance so that I could move throughout the world like a ghost unhindered thus I adopted the name Zero the enigma." He spoke up again looking to Jojo now. She was the only one who knew his true name other than himself. He gazed into her eyes wondering how she would process it all hopefully in a good and understanding way.

Jojo liked that name far better than any of the other names she has previous known Zero as. She loved the name to be honest and well, she would think and wonder to herself if it’d be alright to even begin to think of using the name as a way for her, while the two were alone, could talk to him. Any other time she knew it for certain to be only Zero, but while the two were alone she didn’t know. “Zidane, the name your parents gave you. I appreciate knowing your name Zero,” she would pause for a small amount of time. She did not know how to ask exactly whether or not if she could use the name and so far she would now ask it strait up, “Zero… do you mind if I call you Zidane?
“I know you wouldn’t want me using your name around the others but, when we’re alone…” her words trailed off. She did not like the thought of knowing Zero or calling him an Enigma. Her eyes alone would ideally say to her own that she preferred to call him by this. Her eyes would get to a small look and then with calm eyes she would kiss him once before going back to looking at his eyes, the calm discolored eyes of this man. Jojo would smile lightly with her own eyes to his, looking kindly at him while her body would be in its secondary form. She would ask then, “Do you want me to return to my regular self… Zidane?” Her question would state while her eyes would focus on and from here she would recall any notice to which she should recall it, her chakra sensory noticed no enemies to speak of for now in the close vicinity.

His real name was the last real attachment he had to his clan after their massacre. The one thing he still had attaching him to his mother. He had tried abandoning it by donning a new name but in the end he had never truly abandoned or forgotten it. Even now he still held onto his clan name and cherished it for the sake of one day reviving his clan in his own image. "I see no harm in sharing it with you at least Jojo. I trust you more than anyone else." That and because they truly loved each other now. He knew she would never betray him and so long as she never did he would never betray her. Should someday she did in fact betray him then he would have no hesitation in killing her to protect his mentor's plan and knew if he betrayed her she would have no qualms in trying to kill him for breaking her heart.
"You may if you wish so Jojo." He replied stroking her right cheek with a thumb now. Anyone else who spoke it would end up dead to protect his identity. Even if it was just a name it was enough to tie him to his clan's massacre which would launch an investigation against him to determine his involvement in that night and that was something he could not afford to let happen or get out. He pushed the thought aside wanting to focus on Jojo again and closed his eyes returning the kiss with equal passion before opening them again. "Yes. I long to see your real beauty again. To hold and cherish it with my hands. If anyone happens upon us I will make sure they do not remember your true face." He replied running his hands up and down her sides now. Tsukiyomi would take care of that for sure. Enough torture and they'd forget they had seen either of their faces here. "So what of my clan? What shall I tell you or do you wish to know about my time with Obito Uchiha?"
