Shiva wasn't really looking forward to Serina's teenage years either. All the arguments and fights whenever there was a disagreement over something. She would do her best to be reasonable but she could only break so much on something before it was too much. Kirrabi was bound to be a cakewalk compared to that but she knew they'd still have their arguments and fights there too. "Yeah she really is." Shiva replied with a smile nuzzling him a little now. Silvia hadn't been too sure of herself at first when having her first litter so she was thankful Ken had helped her out on occasion. "Little too seriously sometimes." She would mutter to herself rubbing her forehead a little now. She loved them like her own children but they were a little uptight sometimes. Always on guard rarely having fun. She looked to her son now as Roronora spoke to him. Then she watched him pet his wolf pup and shook her head with a small smile that was going to be a tough one to crack for sure. "Don't let them go too far now Serina." She would look to their daughter now seeing her pups wonder a little too far away from her. Then she would whistle to Silvia who moved to guide them back to Serina now.

Roronora knew that puberty threw a wrench into anything no matter what you did. A simple family outing could turn into a warzone. Your kids feeling oppressed or smothered. He sighed there would be fights galore, especially on the topics concerning boys. He growled at the contact. “You know I’ve got something special planned for you tonight.” He said with a secretive smirk. He looked at the two wolves and nodded. He just couldn’t get them to relax, or be playful all they wanted was to train, or go hunting. He shrugged he wasn’t going to change them, and no matter their temperament they were good partners, and a very lethal weapon in a pinch. Roronora smiled at Shiva. “Look at you a professional in Ninken training. I’m so proud.” He said kissing her neck.

Puberty was probably the most difficult part of a person's life more so for a girl. Serina would lose her innocence and care-free nature as she matured. Becoming a teenager she'd no longer always want her mother around not wanting to be smothered with love and affection anymore. Their bond would change and she would do her best to adapt to it though it would be awkward giving them the talk. They'd almost had to one night when Serina came to their room after having a nightmare. Silvia had already been awake so she had barked to warn them just in time before she came in. "Oh well I suppose you wont tell me until then you tease." She would reply shaking head a little before giving him a quick kiss on the lips. Silvia had learned quickly they weren't the playful types. After that she usually kept her distance opting to play with the kids instead. "I learned from the best I had a great teacher." She would reply with a smile tilting her head back a little now. Then she'd lay her head against his arm around his waist giving him a playful squeeze now. Then she'd look to Serina watching her run around in circles her pups doing the same while Kirrabi simply watched along with his own pup.

Roronora’s own adolescence had been a cakewalk sort of. He had enjoyed the change of his voice. The deep timbre of it was cool, and the body hair. That had been cool at first, but having to shave had been less fun. “Goddamn razor burn.” He said rubbing his chin remembering his first shave. Roronora looked at Kirrabi imagining their clashes. Kirrabi not wanting to hear his father’s advice the need to rebel against anything, and everything. He shook his head. “You’ll not get a word from on the subject, but I might give something away if you’re really persuasive.” He said kissing her neck. “Besides as many times as you’ve teased me I think it’s time for a little payback. That night had been to close a call after that he’d loosened one of the floor boards, so no matter how quiet someone was he’d hear that creak. “Indeed you did babe, but you taught me a few things too you sexy thing.” Sometimes Roronora worried about his son, but he swept it away letting Kirrabi be who he was. He fished in his pocket and pulled down a broken Kunai he played fetch with Ken and Kage. “Here son rub your hands on this and throw it for him.” Kirrabi looked at his dad and then did as asked. The pup looked at him and then slowly, but surely went to fetch the Kunai and then gnawed on it instead of bring it back to Kirrabi. He shook his head. “Keep trying son.” He said smirking.

Shiva's coming of age had been mostly uneventful. Of course she had freaked out when she started to bleed that first week of the month. She could remember running screaming to Silvia's room. Her sister had only smiled and told her she was becoming a woman before explaining in detail what was really happening. After that she had started to develop and her view of boys had changed drastically. She looked forward to the day she could share the experience with Serina as awkward as it might be for her. "I can be very persuasive if I need be." She would reply with a smile moaning gently at the kiss. "Fair enough darling." She would add turning to kiss him softly on the lips a few times. "Oh and what might that be?" She would ask with a smile on her face now. She had always let Roronora handle Kirrabi most of the time. He was a boy and he was his father so she felt he would understand him better. Serina was more like she was and was easier to handle most of the time at least for now anyways. Silvia would watch her pup and then grabbing him gently by the scruff of his neck carried him and the kunai back to Kirrabi and placed him down at his feet before barking at her pup who then released the kunai with a whine.

“Oh I know just how persuasive you can be, and let it be known I’m looking forward to it.” He smiled at her coyness and her moaning only intensified his need for her. “Save some of that for later babe. I’ll have you going all night.” He looked at the defiant pup, and nodded. “That’s exactly what he needs a challenge, someone who won’t back down. He appreciated Shiva letting him have his way with Kirrabi. The boy would be a fantastic Shinobi. “Do you think they’ll both get you Kekkai Touta?” He hoped so if not it might cause a rift between them. “I’d hate for something neither had control of to split them apart.” Roronora was pretty sure Serina would get since it seemed to be passed down from mother to daughter, but Kirrabi might not be so lucky. He walked over to Serina as she played with her pups. “So have you thought of a name for these two?” He asked watching them frolic an play. Serina donned a thoughtful expression. “Not yet daddy, but I’ll have something before the day is out.” He nodded. What about you son?” Kirrabi looked thoughtful for a moment, and then nodded. “His name is Ameterasu.” Roronora shook his head in satisfaction. “Good name son. What do you think Shiva?” He always wanted to hear Shiva’s thoughts on anything concerning their children.

"Oh I'm sure of that." She smiled sheepishly at his following comment glad the children hadn't heard it. It was about time for a good romp in the sheets she would figure he had been so busy lately with work and her with the kids. She was half blind so luckily she had help from an assistant that had been appointed to her by the new elders seeing as how the old ones had been fired long ago. "A challenge is always good betters both parties involved." Shiva would simply reply with a nod of her head now. She had no doubt her son and daughter would be some of the finest shinobi to walk the village someday. At the question she looked at him. "Whose to say it normally skips a generation but Mizumi got it so being twins both would get it or wouldn't." Mizumi was a rare case indeed so who was to say their own children might get it too. Thankfully they were twins so both would share everything genetically so there would be no fighting over that kekkai toutai. She watched as he moved to Serina now asking if she had named her pups yet. The answer was no and so she watched him move to their son now. "I like it it's a good name for a wolf pup like him." She would smile ruffling her son's hair a little now.

Roronora was glad his children hadn’t heard his statement. It would raise a lot of awkward questions he didn’t want to have to answer until they were older. It had been a good day when he had fired the old elders. They had overstepped their bounds once too many times, and had been punished with their unwilling resignation. The new ones were working out better than he had ever hoped. They knew exactly what their jobs were and carried them out fantastically. It had gotten to the point where he actually enjoyed the meetings. “That’s the way to put it babe, and that pups going to be a challenge.” Roronora was relieved by Shiva’s words. He looked at her stroking her cheek. “Do you miss Intel babe?” He said concerned. He knew her forced retirement had taken a toll on her. Shiva was a woman of action, and not being able to do that tore her up inside, and thus tor him up inside. At the mention of Maria’s child he had an idea. “You know why don’t we go visit Maria and Kuro. It’ll be good for you to see your sister and the kids their younger cousin.” He kissed her cheek hoping she said yes. “Don’t make me pull out the puppy dog eyes.” He threatened jokingly.

Shiva was thankful too their children hadn't really learned any of the Inuzuka clan techniques yet. She wasn't looking forward to giving them the talk about the birds and bees yet. Serina had always worried about what they did at night when she would hear her mother making noises so much whenever she got up to get something to drink. She would tell her they were only playing around but as frequent as it happened she seemed to be getting a little suspicious now. She was glad to see the old elders go and hated being the reason for it. They had made a snide comment about her being useless and no longer fit for Roronora and that he should throw her out like one did with useless trash. She could've sworn he would have killed them for that comment but he kept his cool and dismissed them all permanently. She would smile at the stroking of her cheek nuzzling his hand a little. "I do but I try not to think about it too much." She always got depressed and moped around whenever she did. She liked to keep busy all the time with work so she felt like she was doing the world some good like she had with INTEL. Now she was barely fourty and retired already because of her injury. It gave her plenty of time with her kids which was nice and all but she felt useless now her true potential lost to her injury. "That would be nice I think they'd really enjoy that. I think Mizumi's birthday is coming up." She smiled at the kiss scratching her stomach a little now. Quite the special girl her niece had the potential to be if she possessed both of her parent's kekkai genkais.

“I’ll probably start their Inuzuka training in a few weeks now that they’ve got their Ninken.” It’ll be as easy as mine. He thought to himself. After his eldest brother’s death his second brother had taken over his training seeing as his mother was no longer up to the task. His brother had taken the brunt of his mother depressive fury. That was probably why he left as soon as he did. He nodded there was nothing like the feel of accomplishment coming home from a mission, or the thrill of battle. Shiva had been in the thick of it during the war, and it had cost her. He blamed himself he should have been there for her and he wasn’t. Just like he should have been there for Kage. He had failed them both that day and it made him feel angry, and worthless. He nodded in agreement. “Perfect! I’ll get the stuff packed and tell the elders we’ll be gone for a few days.” Roronora knew Shiva liked to travel, and the cloud was always a good vacation spot.

"That's probably best my dear best to ease them into it." Serina might be easier but Kirrabi would take a little prodding. Not that he was against it he just needed proper motivation to get really excited and Roronora knew just how to do that. Serina would take easy to it seeing it as a game of sorts which she always enjoyed with the proper reward given. Her pups being eager made it all the more easier for her unlike Kirrabi's pup who like his master would need more prodding and encouragement to take to enjoying training with his master. Looking at Roronora she knew that look on his face. The war had been hard on them both more so on him. They'd been seperated in the war forced to their different divisions much to Roronora's hopes to stay together. Her division had been on there way to meet up with his when they were ambushed and underestimating her opponent she had nearly paid the price for it. Then he had come to see her with only Ken at his side and she felt her heart sink. News of Maria dieing had hit her hard and though she'd come back from death itself she still felt broken like a dull knife that shined but could never cut again. "You mean right now? Are you sure will the elders let you?" They worked him hard as the old ones had but unlike them they allowed him breaks usually whenever he requested them. She did like to travel though and the place where Kuro usually took them was simply breathtaking she could see why he had chosen it for his first date with Marianisa that fateful day they had met.

Roronora shook his head. He would give them a crash course it would be best to throw them in the thick of it, and see how they did. “I want to see what they do in the worst possible situation, how their pups react to them being in danger, and how well they follow directions. I’ll ask the Hokage to reserve the forest of Death for a couple of days.” That had been where he did his training after the orientation into the Inuzuka training, and where he found Ken and Kage. The most dangerous place in the whole Leaf perfect for his intense training. He knew that would be the best way to motivate Kirrabi. His son loved challenges and was at his best when he was in the thick of it. Serina would be harder because of their different ways of approaching things he would have to train them separately. He could tell Shiva had a negative view of herself after her injury, but he knew that she was still the vibrant woman he married. “Of course not now it’ll take a couple of days at the most. I was thinking next week sometime.” He smiled this is exactly what Shiva needed.

"If you think that's best then I wont stop you." He was a Inuzuka after all he knew what was best when it came to ninken training. He knew he would watch out for them while he trained them. Nothing bad would happen to them on his watch if he could help himself. She would be there to watch at least since she was unable to help out. As long as she could be there to support them then that was enough for her. She'd admit the war had left her feeling a little negative all the time lately. She felt useless not being able to do anything for INTEL anymore. It had been her dream and now it was gone taken over by her sister. There were days when the kids were away and Roronora was on missions she felt like breaking down and crying. She loved her family and enjoyed her time with then but she wanted more. She was a woman of action she hated sitting around not being busy like she had been before her injury. "Of course guess I just got a little overexcited." It really cheered her up to go see Maria and her family. It was comforting to know she carried on her work. It made her even happier to see she'd earned her marks of maturity and taken back her natural hair color. Mizumi was the spitting image of Maria and someday she'd earn her marks and be quite the beautiful and strong kunoichi as she and her mother had been in their prime. It was disappointing to know Maria had been denied her right to become clan head because of the new baby but maybe it was for the best since she was pretty busy running INTEL right now.

He crossed his arms and nodded. “A little hunting exercise should work just fine. Right boys.” Kage and Kuro both growled excitedly. It seemed the only that got them excited was training or fighting. “Well at least I know I can count on you two in a fight.” They both nodded showing their fangs. He knew Shiva would want first row seats to their training and it would be good for her to see she might even be able to give them pointers. “Babe I know you don’t feel like you’re worth much, but you are and not just to me and the kids, but to Intel and all the villages. I have never known another person with so much knowledge on strategy. You still have a lot to offer the world maybe not on the battle field, but as a strategist, or an advisor. A lot of people would see it as a great honor to have the legendary Iron Maiden as their chief advisor.” He looked at her and could tell she was a little disheartened. “Ok, ok tomorrow afternoon we will be in Kumo.” He turned to the kids. “Kirrabi, Serina go back your bathing suits and such we’re going to go see your Aunt Maria and uncle Kuro.” Both cheered before running off with their pups to go pack. He turned to Shiva, and smacked her butt. “That means you too missy. I’ll go see about the elders.” He dashed off to their study and looked over his shoulder. “And don’t forget that Bikini I like.”

She simply rolled her eyes with a sheepish smile on her face at the two wolves. They were good bodyguards and fighters at least since they weren't much use for fun. She would be glad to attend the training sessions to help out even if it was only advice so long as she was useful. Then she heard Roronora speak to her and looked at him remaining silent. Lately he had gotten good at reading her mind it seemed. If they weren't finishing each other's sentences then he was always bringing up the things she thought about that seemed to bother her. She'd make a small smile she wanted to believe that and usually she did but it was harder to some days than others. "I know I'm worth everything to my family knowing that keeps me going everyday. I suppose I just miss the thrill of a good fight to get my blood pumping. Those days are gone though but maybe if Marianisa will have me I could be INTEL's chief advisor and strategist." She would reply laying her head against his shoulder now. She'd lost a piece of herself that day but it was time to pick herself back up. Just because she couldn't fight well didn't mean she couldn't still combat the enemies of the world with her brilliant mind. She look to their kids as he told them to go get packed now. "You didn't have to do that but thanks." She would reply nuzzling his shoulder a little now. She'd gasp trying not to squeal too loud when he slapped her on the butt ordering her to do the same as their kids before dashing off. She'd simply nod and would return to their bedroom to do a little packing placing her purple two piece bathing suit on top of her clothes once finished.
